I was back at the mansion packing up my stuff. I was heading back to my apartment. I felt like Klaus accomplished his goal and since there is nothing that is after Hayley and the baby as of yet, I am not needed anymore.

I pick Angel up and went to walk out the door when Rebekah was standing there looking at me.

"Whatever you say, Rebekah, it will not make me any less angry at you or Marcel." I told her then walked past her but she ended up following after me like a lost puppy.

"I know, but still I am sorry. I was just tired of how Nik has been treating me. I've felt that it was finally enough—" Rebekah said before getting cut off.

I turned around and looked at her angrily. "That is no excuse for you to use me so Marcel can put Nik down." I said my voice raising a bit as she stays quiet with glossy eyes. "Then you stood there and watch him kill me. Made no effort to stop him either." I said and a tear fell down her face. "You betrayed me, Rebekah. I thought we were friends?" I said bringing my voice down.

"We are friends." She said and took hold of my hand.

"If we were friends you wouldn't have used me like you just did." I said with venom laced in my voice. I pulled my hand away and walked out the door. I came to a stop when Nik stood in front of me.

"Where are you going?" He asked me.

"I'm going back to my apartment. And you can't convince me otherwise." I told him and he looks down at me.

I decided to be a bit bold because the adrenaline hasn't left my body yet. So I got up on my toes and gave Nik a kiss on the cheek. I got back down on my feet and smiled at him before I sped away.
