Hayley wakes up in a moving car in a trunk. She lifts her hands up to see they were zip locked together. Hayley finally hears soft crying and looks to the other side of the trunk to see an unconscious Phoenix with Angel laying next to her, crying her eyes out. Hayley lifts her foot up and start to bang it against the window making the driver glance behind him.
He stops the car and gets out to go to the back of his truck. He pulls off the shattered window and opens his trunk making Hayley grunt.
Hayley goes to kick him but he grabs her foot before she could. "Seriously?" The man yelled out.
"Tyler?" Hayley said staring at her kidnapper.
"You don't want to fight me, Hayley. You know you can't beat a hybrid." Tyler said and starts to pull her out the trunk.
"Ahh! Let me go, you backstabbing half-breed piece of sh—"
"Shut up!" Tyler yelled at her. Hayley turned back around and grabbed a hold onto Phoenix who was starting to wake up.
Phoenix grabbed hold on Hayley and held onto her tightly. Tyler grunted and let go of Hayley before he sped towards Phoenix and broke her neck again. He picked Hayley up and carried her away from the truck.

It was morning now and Klaus and Elijah watch as Sabine perform a locator using Klaus' blood for Hayley and the rattle for Angel, assuming that Phoenix will keep her close during a dangerous situation.
"Hayley's in the back country, way out past Houma, deep in the bayou. As for Phoenix she is close by but her and Hayley had separated somewhere." Sabine told the two brothers.
"I don't suppose you could be more precise." Elijah asked.

"What's the matter, Elijah, you worried a bit of splashing about in the bog might ruin your expensive shoes?" Klaus taunted as he slowly paces back and forth.
"As a matter of fact, after my recent confinement, I could use a decent stroll through the countryside." Elijah said.
"There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If Hayley and Phoenix went out that far, chances are, she went to find them." Sabine said.
"Clearly, Hayley hopes to make the acquaintance of more like herself. I suppose our company wasn't good enough for her." Klaus said.
"That doesn't explain why Phoenix is all the way out there as well. With her daughter, Angel, she knows to never put her in dangerous area." Elijah rebuttals and Klaus just looks down.
~~~
"We should head south towards the water." Elijah said as he leads himself and Klaus into the bayou.
"You seem quite determined to find the little wolf." Klaus said as he walks behind his brother.
"If I'm moving to fast for you, Niklaus, you're welcome to wait in the car. Do be certain to leave the windows down." Elijah said never missing a step in his search for Hayley or possibly Phoenix.
"Ah, so I touched a nerve. You've begun to admire this girl. Perhaps that's why you've been barking orders since your return, hoping to impress Hayley by assuming the role of family patriarch." Klaus said as Elijah stops.
Elijah turns around to face his brother. "If you want to insist on treating her like a walking incubator, then that's your mistake. Hopefully you feelings for Phoenix help you change that," Elijah said. Klaus was about to say something when he caught two pair of scents. "Have you found their scent?" He asked Klaus.
"I smell two pair of scents." Klaus said as he speeds off following it with his brother speeding after him.
