They arrived in a elegant room. Inside was a table and three chairs. The room had a tall window behind the table. The sun spilled into the room, making it look very comfortable and elegant.

On the table were several teacups, plates with pastries, cookies and more.

"Let's all sit down- ah! Oh no...I only prepared three chairs..." Evelina took Angelina's hands and said in a pleading tone "I'm sorry sister, do you mind waiting a little?"

"......" Evelina excitedly waited for Angelina's response. Evelina was very excited. Angelina would definitely throw a tantrum about being embarrassed, just like she used too.

However unlike Evelina's predictions, Angelina smiled elegantly.

"It's alright sister. I understand. I know you mean no harm"

"....!?" Evelina was a little stunned

'What?....this....this isn't what she used to...do....she couldn't have change that much...!'

"Sister?"

"Ah! Yes! Ahem!" Evelina signalled one for the maids to bring another chair.

The maid nodded and headed out the room.

"......" Lady Cathrine and lady Sonia were confused. Didn't lady Evelina say their relationship isn't good?

After the maid brought another chair for Angelina, they all took their seats and began to chat.

"Lady Evelina, I heard the young master of the Casspan family has been visiting the duchy quite frequently lately"

"Huh? O-oh....! W...well yes" Evelina replied shyly and blushed a little

"W-well...our families think it would be good if he becomes my fiancee..."

"Oh my...!"

Angelina was obviously left out of the conversation, but she didn't mind.

"Lady Sonia, what do you think of the crown prince?" Lady Cathrine asks lady Sonia

"Well....I heard he's very handsome..but I heard he is kinda hard to get along with.."

"Sigh...what a shame..."

Evelina merely smiled. Evelina too thought the crown prince was an eligible bachelor.

Unfortunately the crown prince was too cold and hard to get along with, so Evelina have up on the thought.

"Lady Evelina, your so lucky!"

"Indeed! You have the most eligible bachelor as your soon to be fiance!"

"Well... it's not really determined for him to be my fiance...my sister and I are both candidates for the position of brother Chase's fiancee..." Evelina pretended to be modest

"It's clear lady Evelina will be the one chosen to be young master Casspan's fiance! After all, lady Evelina is so beautiful and kind!"

"Mhmm! Anyone who dare reject lady Evelina must be insane!"

Angelina stayed silent and sipped her tea quietly. She just wanted to escape this disgusting situation. She didn't want to hear their praises for another second.

"Lady Evelina, you and sir Casspan will be perfect together! I mean your the most beautiful lady in the Empire!" lady Sonia appears to be complimenting Evelina, however she was also insulting Angelina.

Angelina's eyes darkened. The most beautiful lady in the empire!? Hah! Lilith was extremely beautiful as well!

In fact she and Evelina were both the most beautiful ladies in the empire in the past. They just had their own set of charms.

Evelina was sweet and kind. She had a innocent and cute charm. Like a delicate daisy

Lilith was an arrogant and intelligent lady. She had a cold and elegant charm to her. Like a rose full of thorns

And even now that she is Angelina skylar, she still had the charms she had as Lilith. Cold and elegant.

The two sister had opposite personalities, and charms. One was sweet and innocent, and the other was angelic and cold.

So it was an absolute lie that Evelina was the most beautiful lady in the Empire. Evelina and Angelina both are the most beautiful ladies in the emperor.

Angelina looked at lady Sonia coldly. As an arrogant lady, it was very insulting for her to be insulted like how she was.

With a quiet "clank", Angelina gracefully put down her tea cup. She raised her head and looked directly at lady Sonia.

Lady Sonia flinched. Somehow she felt chills everytime Angelina looks at her. However lady Sonia did not want to back down. In her mind, Angelina was a evil and lowly lady. She gritted her teeth and faced Angelina's eyes.

She regretted it immediately.

As soon as they made eye contact, Angelina's eyes turned colder.

Lady Sonia froze. She couldn't move, or maybe she couldn't move because she was too afraid.

Angelina's eyes were extremely cold, and it didn't even try to hide it's hatred and disgust towards lady Sonia.

It was very chilling and intimidating.

Evelina and lady Cathrine were chatting happily, and didn't notice the tension between lady Sonia and Angelina.

Lady Sonia was the first to look away. Only when she looked away did she realize that her hands were shaking.

"Sister really is a very suitable match for young master Casspan" Angelina smiled

"....r-really....thank you sister..." Evelina felt a little irritated. Why is she praising me..!?

"......" Lady Cathrine felt confused. The first time she met Angelina, Angelina was quite generous and kind. But then she heard that Angelina was quite mean and impulsive. Now Angelina went back to how she was when they first met. Lady Catherine felt conflicted but she chose to believe Evelina.

Lady Sonia however was not confused. She thought she knew exactly what was going on.

'that b*tch must be pretending! How dare she! Hmph! She can't trick me!'

"W-well lady Angelina, do you have someone in mind that you are interested in? I hope it's not the young master of the Casspan family, or else you'll be the third person" lady Sonia again silently insults Angelina. She appears to have not followed Angelina's warning.

Angelina's eyes turned even colder and her sweet smile now appeared to be hiding an evil grin.

'for a daughter of a lowly baron...you are quite bold lady Sonia.....' Angelina thought to herself

"I'm definitely not interested in anyone, including young master Chase. Are you interested in anyone lady Sonia? Oh!...I probably shouldn't have said that...since your previous fiancee..." Angelina pretended to regret what she just said.

"You!" The topic of her previous fiancee was quite sensitive to her. Lady Sonia became extremely irritated and embarrassed.

Her previous fiancee was also from a baron's family. They were engaged for only two months but lady Sonia already fell over heels for him. Unfortunately, he fell in love with a commoner and eloped with her.

Lady Sonia was heartbroken and embarrassed. She was humiliated by all the nobles. After all..her fiancee just ran away with a commoner!

That's why lady Sonia had no friends exept for Evelina. Lady Sonia felt extremely grateful to her.

But little did she know...Evelina is actually just using her.

Evelina never thought of her as a 'friend' only a pawn, a tool to get what she wants.

Evelina befriended the weak and the vulnerable. In exchange for her friendship, they would be extremely loyal to her. That's why, in the past they would constantly get into fights with Lilith.

Lilith felt annoyed by their existence. Can't they see that their being used!? Why are they still sticking up for her!?

Angelina sighed as she remembered those annoying yet pityful 'friends' of Evelina.

Lady Sonia was actually one of the most loyal one of Evelina's ' friends'.

Not only did she stick up for Evelina, but she would also scheme against Lilith for Evelina. However in lady Sonia's mind, she was merely helping a friend.

'ugh...' Angelina rolled her eyes remembering lady Sonia's stupidity.
