《Chubs | KSJ》It's Offical
Advertisement
It's been exactly 24 hours since I've started working out with Yoongi....
And for the past 24 hours and 36 minutes, I've been seriously thinking about quitting.
I mean, here's the thing. We worked out all day, but I've made no progress AND I literally can't even lift my legs to walk to the fridge. That's a problem. A problem that I'm not prepared to live the rest of my life with.
The buzz of my phone vibrates on my side table. I groan, rolling over to slowly grab it and press it to my face.
"Heller?"
"Hey Momo, Tae said you didn't go to school today is everything okay?" Jin asks concerned.
"noo," I whine. "I can't feel my body" fake sobs blubber out while Jin just laughs on the other line.
"Aigo, the poor BaBy," Jin mocks" I don't feel bad for you."
I glare at him through the phone, hoping my anger will seep through the line and smack him up. "Jerk! I hope you trip on a rock! and- and that you- you"
Jin laughs even more from my stammering
"THAT YOU GET A GIANT PIMPLE ON YOUR FOREHEAD!!"
Jin gasps.
"too far Momo, too far." He mutters, ashamed of me.
I sigh."Listen man. I'm tired and cranky. I haven't eaten anything all day. I've just been laying in bed, wallowing like a beached whale."
"Hm." Jin absorbs my words "great comparison."
I frown.
"well, I'm here so I'll make you food."
"wait," I furrow my brows. "Like HERE, here?"
"Yes. I'm at your house. "Jin explains slowly. "Now come unlock the door."
I stay silent, annoyed.
"OOOOhhhhh,....right." Jin nervously laughs. "Well,..I'll just break it down."
"What?-"
I hear a loud thump, causing me to yelp.
"OHMYGOSH STOP! There's a key under the flower pot, you idiot!!"
"Oh....okay."Jin says disappointed"Ill see you in a second."
I roll my eyes, hanging up.
This guy will be the death of me, I swear.
I hear my door opening and then closing again. Then Jin sarcastically yelling out through my house "HUNNY, I'M HOOOME!"
"IF YOU SO MUCH AS PUT A SCRATCH ON MY DOOR I WILL MURDER YOU!" I yell as he walks into my room, assessing my current blanket burrito situation.

I glare at him through the edge of my covers, hiding the rest of my face.
"Oh, feisty and adorable, I like it." He winks at me, sitting down on my bed. I kick his butt with my feet, trying my best to push him onto the ground.
"YAH!" He swats at me "what is this abuse!!I'm trying to nurture the sick and you're hitting me?!" he yells, shaking his head in disbelief.
I sick my tongue out at him.
Jin claps "Okay, I know what you need."He points at me like an infomercial. I raise my brows "Dad jokes."
Dad jokes? More like bad jokes. hahaha,....Oh God. he's influencing me.
I glare and begin kicking in his general atmosphere.
"I know you love them but please, "Jin luaghs in fake flattery "calm down."
Jin coughs, clearing his throat to begin.
"what do you call a bee who can't make up it's mind?" Jin asks. "A maybee." He smiles, his nostrils flaring in internal laughter.
I stay stone still, lazily looking up at him.
With no reaction, he moves onto the next one "Do you know what's odd?" I squint my eyes, trying to figure out where this one was going. "Every other number." he bust up laughing, slapping my leg. I kick him again. This time he catches my foot, preventing me from punishing him.
"These are lame!" I complain, resorting to verbal abuse since my weaponary is now detained.
Jin gasps, putting a hand to his heart." Momo." He says sadly "Don't go bacon my heart." We stare at each other for a moment as he holds in his laughter. He leans forward to whisper "This is where you sing; 'I couldn't if I fried.'"
"AISH!" I look at him disgusted and ignore the brutal pain of my body to reach up and smack his shoulder. "GO MAKE ME FOOD PEASANT!"
Jin slids a plate of bacon, eggs and toast to me.
Hm. Ironic.
"Thank you, kind chief servant." I thank him, shoving a piece of bacon into my mouth.
Jin chuckles at my enthusiasm. He stops for a moment, only to start giggling again.
I look him up and down "What?" I mumble
"I spat on them." He jokingly warns, sitting down across from me.

I stop mid chew, staring at him with wide eyes and chipmunk cheeks.
He takes a bite of his own bacon, staring back.
I weigh the consequences and then shrug, going back to happily eating the food. Jin chuckles again, smiling at me with warm eyes, admiring my joyful state as I eat my fill.
After a couple minutes of just watching, he breaks the silence "Momo?" He says.
"Hm?" I ask, licking the jam from my fingers after spreading it on my toast.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
I look up at him again, with the same surprised look.
"I know it might be sudden but, I mean, back at the park you already even kinda just think of us as- so like- ya know, why not just make it offical?" Jin stammers nervously, playing with his food, not daring to look up at me.
I laugh. I can't help it, he's so cute.
Jin jolts up at the sound, eyes filled with confusion.
I give a slight nod, tears from laughter streaming down my face.
His nervousness melts away, his own laughter appearing. "YAH! Don't laugh at me!"
"FINALLY!" I yell at him. "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend you weirdo!
A huge smile appears on his face. "Good cuz I've been dying to do this."
He leans forward, cupping my face and guiding it to his. My laughter gets caught in my throat. The sudden moment taking away my ability to breath. He looks with wonderment into my eyes before shutting them and kissing me. His soft lips are gentle and delicate, surprisingly innocent. My heart pounds so loud the neighbors might hear, and Jin surely can. I smile into the kiss.
He pulls away slightly, a breathy chuckle tickling my cheek. "You taste of bacon and strawberry jam."
I punch his stomach with a soft laugh. "so do you"
I grab the back of his neck and pull him in for a second kiss, our laughter filling the spaces in between.
The ring of the door bell bounces through the house. Momo groans from her room
"Jin can you get that?!" She shouts
"Yes, your Majesty!"He calls
Momo rolls her eyes with a smile and continues to scroll through cat memes, double chin out and ready to party.
Jin cleans his hands off on his apron, abandoning the bacon in the cold skillet. He briskly walks to the door and opens it up, greeting a smiling face.
"Hello sir, I'm Stan from the neighborhood committee" He hands Jin a business card that says 'friendly neighborhood committee man Stan'. He blinks, impressed by his credibility. "Summer is around the corner so we are currently taking donations for a neighborhood pool down on the corner in the empty lot. This pool would be open to all members of the neighborhood with no fee. Would you like to contribute to this cause? Any amount would be appreciated." He smiles even wider at Jin.
Jin grimaces. The boy smiles so much, it looks like he's in pain.
"Suurre..."Jin backs up, closing the door slightly "One moment" Jin pops out to say with a small finger gun before scurrying back in to the kitchen.
He grabs a glass from the cupboard and fills it about half the way. He takes a small drink, sighing in satisfaction as he swallows. He wipes his lip print from the glass and takes it out side to the man.
"Here you go, sorry I can't give you more."
"Ah thank you sir, did you still want to make a donation to the pool?" Stan brings the cup to his mouth to take a drink.
"No no no no" Jin's hand reaaches out, covering the top of the cup, protecting it from the man's lips. "This IS the pool donation."
The man Stan sighs, shoving it back into Jin's hands and walking off, thinking about a million ways to kill someone. This was the fifth person to do this. Stan just wanted a pool, is that so much to ask for?
Jin lounges on the floor, scrolling through his phone. Momo comes over and lays down face to face with him, head resting innocently in her hands.
Jin looks up briefly at her squished face. "creepy" he mutters.
He grabs a random pair of sunglasses nearby and places them on her face, going back to looking at his phone.
She scooches closer, putting her head right in the way of his view.
"Ai!" Jin mutters, gently pushing her face away. She goes with the momentum, continuously rolling back and forth. "Ai, stop it" Jin luaghs as she rolls over his phone again.
Momo defies him and continues to roll while singing "They see me rollin', they hatin'"

The Forgotten Hero
Long ago, in the world of Thyne, the Alliance of the Free Races, a name they had given themselves, summoned a hundred humans from another dimension. Praised as heroes by the people, they rejoiced that they had been able to acquire pure, mana deficient humans that wanted to aid them in their time of need, ignoring the black, archaic slave collars around their necks or the depressed, almost hate-filled expressions that they received when interacting with them. After Ten years of bloody war, the dark races were pushed back deep into their territories. Both sides were near breaking point and desperate to end the war once and for all. In a bargain, the twelve surviving heroes launched a high-risk mission, utilising advanced tactics from their home world to kill the Demon Lord. In exchange, they would be sent home, along with the magically preserved corpses of their comrades, though in truth, they knew that even if they returned, they would never be the same. Legends say that, upon ambushing the Demon Lord in his castle, they finally understood the plight of the world, and in the last act of heroism, sacrificed their lives, sealing him in an eternal prison so his essence would not be able to create another. With the loss of the Demon Lord, and no chance for another to be born, the dark races quickly surrendered and the free races celebrated, honouring the noble sacrifice of the heroes before quickly forgetting about them as they returned to their everyday lives. However, legends are rarely truthful, embellished by the victors in order to earn praise as well as hide the less desirable aspects of their deeds. Trapped in the Demon Lord's throne room inside the Demonic Palace, which even taking a single step on its desecrated grounds is punished by death, two figures remain motionless. They had long run out of insults and threats to trade and now they waited. For what, not even the Gods knew.
