Age = 살

살 also means flesh but-

몇 살이에요? = myeot sarieyo? = what's your age?

to ask for someone's age are

나이 어떻게 뒵니까?

나이 어떻게 뒤세요?

나이 무엇입니까?

나이 뭐에요?

나이 뭐야?

(나이 also means age)

To answer that, or when introducing yourself, you say either 저 ___ 살이에요 or ___ 살이에요.

(Native koreans tend to skip speaking the word 저, 나, 너 a lot)

Coming to some super complicated but unavoidable ....

Generally counting, we say 하나 둘 셋 like 1 2 3. But in a sentence, some of these have to be changed. Those are:

◎하나 -> 한

◎둘 -> 두

◎셋 -> 세

◎넷 -> 네

So instead of saying 스물셋 살이에요, we say 스물세 살이에요.

◎스물 -> 스무

This rule on 스물 is only implemented when saying 스물 in a sentence and only when saying 스물 alone.

저 스무 살이에요 = 저 20살이에요

It won't be 스무한 사리에요. It'd be 스물한 사리에요. The same goes for 21-29.

Gladly only five numbers are changed:

1) 한

2) 두

3) 세

4) 네

5) 스무

These principles work on both counters and age. We will discuss counters soon. It'll start sticking with you. I know its hardddddd. I still haven't gotten the hang of it. But I bet time will make it better :))

저 서른다섯 살이에요.

When typing/writing, koreans write it like 저 35살이에요. But speaking it out loud is in native korean system.
