《My safe place (Jensen X Reader)》Chapter 49

About a month later, we were close to the brewery's grand opening. Tonight we are having dinner with our families there and we are planning on telling them about the pregnancy. But for now I have one more ultrasound appointment before the dinner. We will also find out the gender today and I'm super excited.
_______________
"Should I say the gender?" my doctor asks
"Yes" Jensen and I both say
"Ok. Right now I'm looking at a perfectly healthy 17 weeks old little girl" he says and I look at Jensen. He looks down at me and kisses me.
We took the video from the ultrasound and headed to the brewery. "It's a girl" I say still watching the video "It's our little girl" I say and I finally look at Jensen who was still driving
"I know. Honestly, I can't quite believe this" he says
"Me neither. Imagine a little girl running in the house or in the yard, with her hair up on two small ponytails, wearing her pink dresses, carrying her unicorn plushie and yelling 'dada' " I say
"Yeah, that would be a dream" he says picturing it "Except the unicorn though" he says and I chuckle.
"I love you" I say and I kiss him
"I love you too" he says. He parks the car in the parking lot and turns to me. He kisses me and soon the kiss gets hotter. He placing his hand on my thigh "You think we'll have some time for ourselves in the brewery before the guests come" he says moving his hand higher on my thigh
"I'll make sure we will" I say and I kiss him again this time getting on top of him.
_______________
Everything was ready just in time for the dinner. Jensen and Dylan gave all of them a tour of the brewery and then we sat down. At some point after the dinner we are probably going to show them the video and I believe that they'll understand. During the whole dinner, I was drinking alcohol free beer so they wouldn't question why I'm not drinking anything. The last time we had something close to thst was at our wedding. But this one was more quiet because we just had our parents and siblings, except, Mackenzie, Jensen's sister who couldn't make it because her little girl is sick. But it was great and fun and thankfully, no one noticed that I wasn't drinking normal beer because my mom is asking me weird questions lately.

In the middle of the dinner, Jensen pulled his phone out "Why don't you show your mom what you are getting her for her birthday this summer?" he asks as he prepares the ultrasound video on his phone.
"Are you sure you want me to go first?" I ask him
"Yeah, go for it" he says handing me his phone and I nod.
"Isn't it a better idea to surprise her?" Dylan asks
"Shut up" I say and he chuckles. I get up from my seat and I go to my mom. She was sitting next to Dylan from the left and next to my mother-in-law from the right so I thought it'd be fair to crouch between the ladies. I place the phone in front of them and I play the video.
My mom starts crying almost immediately and hugs me.
"Oh my..." she says crying
"You better get ready grandma" I say hugging her back
"How long?" she asks pulling away
"17 weeks" I say
"Dude, seriously?" Dylan asks Jensen
"Yes" he says
"Wow, congratulations guys. I'm gonna be the best and funniest uncle, I promise" Dylan says
"Oh God no, please" I say looking at him
"You won't need to. I'm the best one already" Josh, Jensen's brother, says and I chuckle.
My dad came to me to see the video too. "I'm gonna be a grandpa?" he asks not believing it yet
"Yes, dad" I say. I get up and I hug him.
"Congratulations" my father-in-law says as he hugs Jensen.
"A little girl is going to join us this summer" Jensen says as his mom hugs him.
The next day was the official opening of the brewery. Dylan came by and picked up Jensen to go there really early in the morning and make sure that everything is ready. They were both nervous because they put much time and effort to it. I thought that it was really cute seeing them so excited about this project all along and I can't wait to see the outcome.

I woke up after Jensen left and I noticed that he had made breakfast for me. So I ate, took a quick shower and headed to the brewery. I was there about 15 minutes before they open but there were people already waiting in line outside. I grab my phone and I call Jensen
"Hey, I'm in the brewery. Should I come in from the back?" I ask
"Yeah, I'll be there in a sec to unlock" he says and hungs up. I get out of my car and I go to the back.
Jensen opens the door and lets me inside. "Good morning" I say and I kiss him
"Good morning, did you eat breakfast?" he asks
"Yes, thank you. How is it going here?" I ask
"Everything is ready and I am stressed" he says and I chuckle
"I can see that. Everything is going to be ok" I say and I hug him.
Dylan comes in the back "Hey sis" he says
"Hey" I say and I hug him "Are you ready? Stressed?" I ask him
"Both" he says and I chuckle.
"Ok, both of you, everything will be great. You've been planning this for a year now and everything is set. The amazing crew is ready, the location is ready... Everything will be great" I say. They both look at each other and then back to me. "You got this" I say and they nod.
"We are ready to open" Adam, one of the crew guys, say
"Ok, let's go" Dylan says and he and Jensen say walk away at the same time. 'Oh my God, it's like Sam and Dean' I think and I chuckle.
