During my time off, I got a gift idea for Jensen. I just wanted to thank him for everything he did for me, for staying even when he found out that I hide things from him. But this kind of gift needed some research first so it took me some time to find the right one. It took me a month and eventually, I found the perfect one just in time for Jensen's summer break.

When I returned to work, from the first second I stepped in the hospital Kelly jumped in front of me and said that she wanted to talk to me. It turns out that she is pregnant and she is going to leave for maternity leave so she offered me her job until she comes back. I was surprised but I said yes almost immediately.

"Hey babe" Jensen says as he sees me home

"Hey" I say and I kiss him

"How are you?" he asks holding me close to him

"I'm great and I have amazing news!" I day excited

"Wow, what happened?" he asks

"You are now talking to the new head of the Trauma department. Not yet though, I'll be in a few months because Kelly is leaving with maternity leave" I say

"Congratulations" he says excited and kisses me.

"What about you? How was your flight?" I ask

"It was fine. I missed you though" he says and kisses me again

"I missed you too".

"Are tou tired? Hungry? I had some time so I made lunch" he says

"Yes, thank you. I'm gonna go take a quick shower and I'll be right back" I say

"Ok" he says and kisses me one more time before I go upstairs.

After the shower, I went to the kitchen and there was already food waiting for me on the table. I take a deep breath and I look at Jensen who was waiting for me. He is amazing and he deserves everything. I go to him

"I love you" I say and I kiss him

"I love you too" he says and sits down with me.

"Do you have time later?" I ask while eating

"I have always time for you. Especially when you bring home your white coat" he says and I chuckle

"No, I need you for something else" I say

"I'm all yours" he says and keeps eating.

After the food, I changed my clothes and then I send Jensen upstairs to change too. "Are you going to tell me know where are we going?" he asks for the millionth time

"No. You don't need to know yet" I say. We get to the car and I get to the driver's seat. I pull out a bandana and I hand it to Jensen.

"What?" he asks

"Close your eyes" I say

"Why?" he asks hesitating a bit

"Do you trust me?" I ask

"I do b--"

"Then close your eyes" I say and he finally puts the bandana on.

About half an hour later, we arrived at the field in Dripping Springs so I park the car. "Are we there? Can I take the bandana off?" Jensen asks

"Not yet. Wait here" I say and I get out of the car. I go to his side and I help him out of the car. "Now open your eyes" I say and he does. He takes a look around at the empty field that had just trees all around it's perimeter and looks back at me.

"Remember how excited you were when Nick put the idea of a brewery in your head? But then because of me--" I say

"You know that what happened wasn't your fault" he says

"Anyway, that project didn't turn out as we hoped. But seeing you so excited about it made me excited to and after everything I wanted to make you a nice gift. And I had to do a little research but I found this. 15 acres of land all on you to make that brewery you dreamt of, in the way you imagined it to be" I say all excited waiting for his answer

"Are you serious?" he asks

"Deadly" I say. He smiles and hugs me. He picks me up and spins me around.

"I love you so much" he says and kisses me

"I love you too" I say and I kiss him.

"Wow... This is amazing. I can already imagine everything" he says excited and taking a better look around. "But did you pay for it my yourself? Baby, you didn't have to" he says

"Stop thinking about the money. Do you think I haven't noticed that all this time you were paying almost all our bills, even from before we moved in together and made me believe that we actually split it? Or that you didn't even let me pay 50-50 for our house?" I ask

"Well, I'm the man of the family" he says and I chuckle

"Yeah, right. Keep telling yourself that" I say ironically

"Oh, maybe I should let you propose to me instead too?" he asks jokingly

"No, you did good on that one" I say and he chuckles.

"I found this just in time so you can spent as much time as you want designing it now that you are on your summer break and while I'm at work" I say

"This is awesome (Y/N)" he says. He hugs me again and kisses me deeply and passionate. "Thank you. You are amazing. I love you" he says still holding me close to him

"I love you more" I say and I kiss him.

"I wanna marry you right here right now" he says looking at me in the eyes

"Right here? We can make it happen. Right now? As much as I want to, we can't. But it's actually a good idea to do it here" I say

"Really?" he asks

"Yeah. I mean this place is beautiful, full of green and flowers... And with the proper decoration, it can happen" I say

"But it has to happen soon if we want to start building the brewery here" he says

"I had an old friend who's a wedding planner and she owes me a big favour. I bet she can help us plan everything good but also fast. So you focus on your project here and I'll talk with Ellen about the details" I say

"I love you and I can't wait to marry you" he says and kisses

"Me too" I say and I kiss him again.

"Now, how about we go home cause I brought my white coat" I whisper in his ear

"Then what are we still doing here?" he asks and picks me up carrying me back to the car.
