About 30 minutes later we were called back inside the courtroom and got our seats. "Will the jury foreperson please stand? Has the jury reached a unanimous verdict?" the judge asks the jury

"Yes" the foreperson says and hands the verdict to the clerk. The clerk hands it to the judge and he reads it silently. He hands it back to the clerk

"The jury finds the defendant guilty" the clerk says reading the verdict.

"The jury is thanked and excused. The defendant is sentenced to three years in prison and two more years of social work. After that he will not be allowed to leave his homeland, Canada and the court will sign a full restraining order for dr (Y/L/N) against the defendant. The court is adjourned" the judge says and hits the gavel.

"Now, it's the moment we smile" Michael says and I hug him

"Thank you" I say

"I did my job" he says. Jensen comes to me and kisses me.

"You did it" he says hugging me

"Thank you for coming. And for staying" I say

"Of course" he says rubbing my back.

Harris approach us and offers his hand to Michael "Nice trial" he says shaking his hand. "Mr Ackles, miss (Y/L/N)--" he says but I interrupt him

"It's Doctor (Y/L/N)" I say correcting. It bothered me all along the trial but I didn't say anything there. Jensen chuckles proudly and wraps his arm around my waist

"How about we go home now?" he asks and I nod.

But as soon as we stepped out of the courthouse, all the cameras and mics were on us. Jensen wrapped his hand around my shoulders protectively. Security came immediately and helped us go through them without getting hurt by the crowd. They stayed with us until we got in my car. Jensen took an Uber here so he insisted on driving my car now.

The way was silent. Non of us knew what to say to the other. Jensen parks the car in the garage and gets out. But I didn't. He comes to my side and opens my door "Baby, are you ok?" he asks

"I was scared Jensen" I say

"What?" he asks

"I was scared when I was home alone. He made me be scared in my own house" I say and a tear escapes my eye

"Come here" he says and picks me up. He carries me to the bed and helps me change into something comfy. "Get some sleep and we'll talk later. I'm here. I'm not leaving you alone" he says rubbing my cheek

"Thank you" I say crying "I love you"

"I love you too" he says wiping my tears "Get some rest" he says and kisses my head.

I wake up a few hours later and I go to the living room. Jensen was sitting on the couch watching TV. I snuggle next to him and he lets me lay on his chest. "I talked with my mom earlier and I asked her about her surgery. From what she told me I realized that I am going to marry the most caring and sensitive girl that exists, that sometimes hides things from me because she doesn't want to worry me. I remember that that period back then I was super stressed and super busy and you knew that. So in order to not get me even more stressed you told my mom not to tell me anything and she agreed. And you sacrificed your week off to take care of her since my dad was in Vancouver with me. And I got angry at you because I thought you didn't love me as much as I love you, to spend your week off with me. But the truth was that you cared for me more than I thought" he says rubbing my back

"I'm sorry that you found out this way" I say

"I know but you don't have to. I love you" he says and kisses my lips.

"If you need to talk, I am here. You know that you can talk to me" he says

"I know. But I don't want to talk about it. I just want to forget it, if that's possible" I say

"Ok..." he says "... dr (Y/L/N)" he whispers in my ear and I chuckle.

"You know what? I haven't decided yet if I should get your last name or not. Don't get me wrong, I love you and your name but... dr (Y/L/N) or dr Ackles?" I ask

"It's completely your choice baby" he says and kisses me

"You're not helping" I say and he chuckles.
