The trial starts and Michael stands up first to give the jury an overview of the cas and then Nick's lawyer follows their opening statement. It seems like their tactic is to attack me, make me sound overreacting and eventually call me a liar. But Michael had a plan for that too.

Then Michael starts presenting the evidence. He calls me on the stand first. "Dr (Y/L/N), when was the first time you felt uncomfortable by Mr Daniels' presence?" Michael asks me

"It was at the dinner. I wasn't talking much because I was trying to let Mr Daniels and my fiance talk about their business ideas. The table was rounded, my fiance was sitting on my left and Mr Daniels on my right. Suddenly I felt a hand that didn't belong to my fiance, on my right thigh" I say

"Did you try to move?" Michael asks

"Yes, but then he squeezed my thigh causing me to accidently hit my leg on the table" I say.

"What happened next?" he asks

"Then Jensen went to the bathroom--" I say but Nick's lawyer interrupts me

"Objection, we are going off topic" he says

"It's related your honor" Michael says to the judge

"Overruled. Continue doctor" the judge says to me and I nod

"Then Nick turned to me and run his figures across the V-neck of my t-shirt while asking me to meet him again just the two of us. So that moment I thought was a good time to leave the dinner so I did and honestly I was willing to forget what happened if I'd never see Nick again" I say.

"But you did see him again and to be exact inside your workplace, am I correct?" he asks me

"Yes" I answer quickly

"This is the camera footage from that day" Michael says and plays the video from the hospital for the jury. "What did you do next?" he asks

"I went to the surgeon's lounge, got my things, went home and told Jensen about everything" I say

"And the next day Mr Daniels published this video" he says and plays Nick's video.

"Is what Mr Daniels said in this video true?" he asks me

"No" I answer

"So he was lying?" he asks trying to convince the jury

"Yes" I answer immediately.

"But again, that wasn't the last time you saw him. What happened next?" he asks me. I look at Jensen quickly because this is the part he doesn't know yet. He smiles slightly and nods.

I take a deep breath and I look back at Michael. "Two days later after what happened in the hospital, he knocked on my door. I opened thinking that it was probably Gen from nextdoor but instead I saw him. I tried to close the door but he didn't let me. He said that he was there for Jensen but Jensen wasn't home because he was working in Vancouver. When I told him that he pushed the door in and walked inside. He said that now it's just the two of us. I tried to kick him out but he said that if I'd be a good girl to him, he'd delete the video. I told him again to leave but he ignored me and walked further inside the house. So I turned the house's alarm on just in case something happens" I say.

"And you opened the door to the backyard causing the alarm to call the police. When did that happen?" Michael asks

"Right after I turned it on, Nick started closing the distance between us. So I run to the backyard" I say

"Let's see the video" he says giving me an 'are you ready?' you ready?' look and I nod. While the video was playing, I was looking down at my hands. I was scared to look at anyone and especially Jensen.

"The DNA that was found in that spot was confirmed that it was Mr Daniels'. The witness is yours" Michael says and goes back to our table. Nick's lawyer stands up and walks to me. "Let's go back to the dinner night. What were you wearing that night miss (Y/L/N)?" he asks

"Objection, going off topic" Michael says

"Sustained" the judge says

"Ok, let me rephrase. Is there a chance that you wore something that may have caused my client's behaviour?" he asks

"I'm sorry but I don't understand your question" I say. I do understand where he is going with it and I don't like it at all.

"You already said that you were wearing a V-neck. Were you also wearing shorts? Tight clothes?" he asks

"No. But even if I did that gives him no right to--"

"How do I know that you are saying the truth? There are no photos from that night" he says interrupting me and looking at the jury proud of himself.
