《My safe place (Jensen X Reader)》Chapter 24

I was laying on the couch with my head on Jensen's lap. He was brushing his fingers through my hair softly and kissed my head from time to time. "You know what I was thinking?" Jensen asks taking my attention from the TV
"I'm listening" I say looking up to him
"We are together for more than a year now and we are still doing the my place, your place thing even though we practically live together when we are together from the very beginning of our relationship" he says
"Ok, where is this going?" I ask
"I was thinking for quite some time now that maybe it's time for us to get OUR place" he says and I sit up straight
"Are you serious?" I ask
"I am" he says
"I would love to get our own place" I say and we kiss.
"But where? I work and live here, you work in Vancouver and live here, in Vancouver and in Dallas. Where do we get a house?" I ask
"I already took time to think about it before telling you because I knew that I'd be an issue and I landed in Austin" he says
"Are you serious?" I ask surprised
"I am. You work here and your family is here. My family is only three hours away from here and as it is for Vancouver... as much as I don't want to admit it... the show will end one day and maybe I will go back to Vancouver to work on something else but maybe I won't and we'll be there, away from our families. So I suggest Austin. What do you say?" he asks
"I love you" I say and I kiss him. "I love you so much" I say and I kiss him again. Tears form in my eyes

"Baby, why are you crying?" Jensen asks worried holding my face in his hands
"Because I can't believe that I am so lucky. You are amazing Jensen" I say and I smile through the tears that were in my eyes. He smiles too and kisses me passionate.
"I love you too" he says as we pull away.
"I have one more question though. You still work in Vancouver, the traveling back and forth won't stop, our schedules won't get better" I say
"Yes but we'll have a place to call home. Right now I don't even know where I live. But this way I'll know that I have a place to go back to. A place that we can start a family" he says and I smile. "I'll stay at the apartment in Vancouver only when it's necessary cause of work and of course you can come over whenever you want" he continues.
"Do you want me to book an appointment with the real estate agent?" he asks
"Yes, the sooner the better" I say and I kiss him. "And we are paying paying together. Half and half" I say
"Baby--" he says but I stop him
"It's going to be our place and I'm an independent adult who has an income and a pretty good amount of savings" I say
"Ok, then, if you insist" he says and chuckles
"Thank you" I say and I kiss him.
The following week, we went to see the houses. All of them where wonderful but one of them felt right. I immediately went to Jensen and whispered to him that this is is and he agreed. It had two floors and a front and a big back ward. On the first floor was a big living room, the kitchen and dining table and a bathroom. On the second floor was the master bedroom and bathroom, two rooms, a big office that we thought we can make it into two offices, one for me and one for Jensen, and one more smaller bathroom. The back yard was huge and full of grass, fake but it still looked beautiful. There was also a patio and a medium sized pool in which the 1/4 of it was a jacuzzi and all of it was surrounded by beautiful tiles and had enough space on the right side for sunbeds. This whole side was looking straight to the lake that was only a few miles away with nothing being on the way of the beautiful view. The front yard was smaller but just as amazing. Right next to the house was the garage that had space for two cars which was amazing and a huge thing for us because Jensen and I both have a car.

So that same day we made an offer for it and the next day the seller accepted it. Jensen and I started looking for colours, wallpapers, tiles, furnitures, decoration and everything a new house needs. We agreed that everything is going to be new and we would bring in only our things that we really really want and need. Jensen have already put my name in his apartment in Vancouver and when our house is ready, I'm gonna sell my apartment. I'm really excited for this because Jensen and I are both working on it and at the end it's going to be amazing.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple

Warning: mature content. This volume shifts from the shounen / shoujo category to seinen / josei, and most definitely not in a nice way. I'm not referring to porn, which I personally wouldn't consider R-rated. Once again, you have been warned.
