《My safe place (Jensen X Reader)》Chapter 23

The next morning we were both in my place in Austin. Jensen left almost immediately to go grab his charger that Jared accidently took with him when we left.
I hear the door open and I go to the living room. I see Jensen standing in front of the door with a bouquet of flowers
"Baby, you didn't need to" I say walking to him "They are beautiful. I love you" I say and I kiss him but it was like he was frozen in place "Are you ok?" I ask him
"I didn't get them for you. I... I found them on the doormat" he says
"What? Why?" I ask
"I don't know. Is there a card?" he asks
"Yeah. I'm truly sorry, please forgive me" I read the card out loud.
"Who wants to apologize to you? Matt?" he asks
"No, he has the restraining order and he wouldn't risk it, it can't be him. Maybe they just let it to the wrong door" I say
"They are not on the wrong door. Your name is right there, they saw it" he says.
"Aww... It might be the first time I see you so jealous" I say
"(Y/N)!" he says a little louder
"Maybe it's for you?" I say
"They don't bring flowers to a guy" he says
"They do... in his funeral" I say jokingly
"(Y/N)!" he says again so I'd be serious
"Come on Jensen. We are almost together for 14 months now" I say and his eyes go wide. I rethink of what I said "No, that came out wrong. We are together for almost 14 months now. And before you I was with Matt, you know that" I say
"Before Matt? Between me and Matt? During me?" he asks suspiciously

"Of course not. Baby, the flowers are not for me. They just did the apartment wrong, ok?" I say and he finally agrees.
_____________
A couple of hours later we were already forgetting about it. "Babe, I'm gonna get the garbage out. Including the flowers. Do you need anything?" Jensen asks
"No, I'm fine" I say. The door closes loudly and I turn to look a Jensen. He was holding a bouquet on his hand, exactly like the one he found earlier, and also the card that was probably on it. "Another one?" I ask
"If you break up, I will too" he says reading the card "Who is that guy that tells you to break up?" he asks
"Honestly, I don't know" I say
"(Y/N), tell me really calmly who is that son of a bitch that sends you two bouquets in the same day" he demands as his voice gets a little louder
"Seriously Jensen, do you think that I'm cheating on you? And if I did, I would be so stupid that he would send me flowers in the house that I live with my boyfriend and I wouldn't have told him to stop? Think about it, we are together all day, did you see me make any weird calls or send texts secretly?" I ask
"No. But what if you ended it and he insists?" he ask
"Then don't worry baby. I chose you" I say jokingly and I kiss him. "They're is just something wrong here, ok? The name, the address, the apartment... or something else, I don't know. I love you" I say
"I love you too and I'm scared of losing you" he says
"You're not losing me" I say.
"Ok. But give me your phone" he says

"If that's what will make you believe me, then take it" I say and I give it to him.
_____________
The night we get ready to go out and Jensen opens the door and there is one more bouquet in front of the door. He takes a deep breath "What is this (Y/N)?" he asks looking at me
"It looks like a bouquet to me but the hallway doesn't have the best lighting... Come on baby, don't get angry. We have two more like this one. I mean no originality here" I say as Jensne opens the card.
"The silence is hurting me" he reads "Your silence is hurting him. Because I took your phone, right?" he says
"No baby" I say
"Who is it? And for how long? Just tell me. Why baby? Weren't we happy?" he asks hurt.
I take the flowers from the floor and I close the door. I look at the small sticker to see the store that they are from.
"You know what's weird? This says that it os from California" I say
"What?" he asks
"This shop, I worked there for a summer when I was 17 because she is a friend of my mom and she has multiple stores in multiple states. So everytime someone would make an order from California, for example, to Austin... the small sticker that everyone puts on the side with the name and number of the place... We should put two. One from the place that the order was made and one of the place of the delivery so the client could have both the phone numbers" I say. He takes the bouquets and looks at the two stickers. "I've never even been to California. You think any ex of mine moved there?" I ask
"I'm gonna kill him" Jensen says and his expression changes to a tough one
"Baby, he is ex. I only love you" I say
"Not your ex. Misha" he says and I pointing at the California sticker. I start laughing
"He got you. He got you good. Nice way to take revenge" I say laughing
"Yeah and make me have a stroke. Next time I'm gonna slam that pie so hard on his nose..." he says seriously but I can't stop laughing.
"Come here" I say dragging him down to me by the collar of his t-shirt. "I love you" I say and I kiss him
"I love you too" he says and kisses me. "I'm sorry for not believing you" he continues
"It's ok. You're so cute when you're jealous" I say
"I wasn't jealous, I knew that it was Misha. I was just acting" he says
"Yeah, right. Now come here" I say kissing him and letting him get on top of me on the couch.

All you can rely on are mundane medical procedures to help you get back on your feet. And those don't come cheap! You can probably guess that injuries that in other worlds would be minor are rather costly in one where the priest class doesn't exist. What kind of dungeoneering community springs up in an atmosphere where a simple cut can mean lethal infection? How do dungeon crawlers find workarounds when conventional combat proves too dangerous? A veteran warrior who senses his time is near puts to pen a final record, a shocking tell-all about his adventuring career...
