Sound of the gates being pushed down by a powerful force, jolted Aiden and Orion from the cold grounds which they were laid on.
Their face filled with shock, seeing Elpida standing in front of the dungeons with a girl right beside her, staring back at them.
She ran in immediately, presenting their weapons which were previously absconded and expressing how glad she felt seeing them.
"I thought you were killed" Aiden said to her immediately.
"I thought so too" She responded.
She crashed herself in his embrace and then turned around to Orion, smiling at him.
"Who's this?" Aiden asked Elpida, his gaze falling on Elena.
"She saved me" Elpida responded.
"She's a friend of mine"
Elena bowed curtly to Aiden and Orion, then turned around to step out of the dungeons.
"You have to leave now, Elpida. I can feel them coming" Elena uttered, her eyes resting on the stairs ahead.
"We have to go" Elpida whispered to Aiden and Orion
"We can't leave, not until we've retrieved the staff from Costa" Aiden said.
"Leave that to me, I'll do it" Elpida spoke.
She turned around, moving away from them, with a look of uncertainty and fear in her eyes.
"Are you sure?" Aiden stopped her in her tracks.
"He's far more powerful than we think" He added.
"I'll get the staff from him, Aiden. Bother not" She called.
Orion proceeded out of the dungeons, while Aiden joined him.
"I'll meet you all in the woods, I need to attend to something" Orion uttered.
"We're leaving here together" Aiden spoke out to him.
"We don't even know where Bellona is" He added.
"You have to go, Aiden. I'll find Bellona" Orion said to him.
"Elpida might need help. Go after her" He added.
He didn't wait for a response from Aiden, instead, he turned around, and began running through the halls of the Gigantic palace of Grirendra.

"Orion!" He heard Aiden Call his name, but he didn't bother stopping.
Walls away from the the dungeons, right underground was another dungeon, specially for offenders whom the King wished to communicate with every now and then.
Stationed at the gates of the dungeon were two guards, armed to toe, their eyes moving every now and then, seeing as to all was in order.
One of the guards turned his attention to the side, catching on to a light sound that was made a second ago, his brows furrowed as he turned to the other guard, both communicating with their eyes.
Light sound of boots got audible enough from around the corner, which got the standing guards alert, drawing their weapons out immediately.
Bellona stood to her feet from inside the dungeons, scared of what was happening outside.
She placed her palms together, watching the guards as they moved away from the gates.
Her legs felt so weak, yet she held on to herself.
Startled by a scream from one of the guards, she shuffled back to the walls immediately, fear gripping her.
The clanging of swords followed, mixed with grunts and sounds of boots.
She swallowed hard as the noise died, and then footsteps began approaching her cell.
She held her breath, waiting to see the person.
A sigh of relief left her lips as Orion's face came into view. Joy filled her heart instantly, seeing he was well, and had come to her rescue.
He fumbled with the locks, twisting and turning it with a dagger in his hands, and finally, breaking it.
Moving over, he held his hands out for her to take, with pursed lips and a piercing gaze, he stared into her eyes.
Gazes locked, each thinking of the other, in ways they couldn't imagine.
"Thanks" A soft utterance she made.
He held onto her hands, unsure of what to say, and what words to use.
In a moment, he turned his face away, holding on to his sword tightly.
She placed her hands warmly in his, grabbing them and then hurrying out of the dungeons right by his side.
