《Orion》54

Stood at the center of four crossroads, Sima and Sonora with the group right behind them, a smile on each of their faces as they stared at what laid ahead.
Tiny balls of light sailed in the air, making strange sounds while jumping around.
Some winged little creatures jiggled, alongside the butterflies that flew low in the meadows.
Ahead the path, stood an arch of thorns, with green vines crawling up it, revealing the entrance into the Wispy Meadows which people have termed to be dangerous.
Dead leaves surrounded the area, with rotten fruits which had fallen from trees laying around, blown at every second, by the wild breeze.
The distant growling of an animal got Bellona on edge, while her eyes accessed
the environments
"We're here" Sonora uttered lightly, staring at the view, which came forth.
She gripped the bow in her hands tight, and turned to look at Orion.
"It awaits you" She utttered softly.
Orion's eyes shifted around, staring at the path, unable to comprehend that they were finally here, at the Wispy meadows.
He stepped forward going through, just as Sima and Sonora retreated.
"It's time for us to part" Sima spoke to them.
"I'm afraid our journey ends here" Sonora joined in.
"It's been an honour riding with you, Orion. You must do what you've come to do" She added.
"Please be safe" Elpida called out to them.
"Trust me, we're always safe" Sima uttered in response.
Turning around on their heels, right after bidding their last farewell, Sima and Sonora proceeded to go away, taking the route which led to Sedona.
It was the end of the journey for them. Seeing to the safe passage of Orion into Wispy meadows, was complete, and now, they had to go back home, to the comfort that awaited them.

Orion on the other hand, grabbed the crystal which Denissa had given to him, raising it up towards the pathway, as a guide and protection from the dangers ahead.
He took cautious steps forward, going through with Aiden, Bellona, Pavlos and Elpida.
Every one of them gripping their weapons right, their eyes playing seeker, for fear of what could interrupt their entry, into the meadows.
The cawing of a bird as it flew right past their heads, brought Elpida to a sharp gasp, her hands gripping her chest.
"Are you alright?" Aiden asked her.
"I'm scared" She stuttered in response.
"We just need to grab the staff, and we'll be out" Orion said to them.
All nodding in agreement, they proceeded in, going deeper, right to where the stafff was held.
They searched through the meadows, checking every corner but had no clue, as to where it was.
Almost at the point of giving up and turning back, they by-passed an opening, more like a large hall, which had bright lights, peering in from the sky.
The room was filled with vines, rare flowers and plants, with iridescence filling the environment.
Right at the center, sat on a mounted rock, was a staff.
The staff which belonged to Zeno with ancient writings engraved around its head, rested there, patiently awaiting its wielder, and rightful owner. The man who had brought the staff to life. The one man who held command to it, and the only person the staff served, Zeno.

Lost in a Dream
Published Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! If dreaming is a drug, then I'm a junkie. For most people, sleeping is an obstacle. Something to get out of the way, so they can get back to their life. For others, it's an escape to nothing, a blissful break from the wears of life. It's the opposite for me. I live so that I can dream; I work so that I can go home and close my eyes, awakening in the real world. My real world. After all, what is reality if not the place where dreams don't come true? Can you fight a dragon on your way home from work, or conquer a foreign land to save an oppressed people from their malevolent overlords after vacuuming the living room? Can you visit a land where mountains look like freshly baked phyllo dough, or live in a castle bigger than my apartment complex? Tigers instead of taxes. Monsters instead of men with too much power. Reality is just the word we came up with to accept a mundane life. A birthing place for grander ideas we wish could materialize. I choose to live in a world where they do.

Elder's Game
In a world set upon by an ancient threat, a new cycle of civilisation competes for power and resources. Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter
