《Orion》50

The dangling of tiny bells rang lightly, faraway in the mini cottage of Lady Denissa of Staghorrn.
A blue string was hung on the wooden door, with blue gemstones circling it. The entire place was filled with purity, silence and love, giving warmth to its visitors.
Villagers trooped in and out, laying their problems to the one person they sought help from, Denissa.
"And after that, make sure to hand over the potion to her. It eases the stress and also builds peace inside of her" The light voice of Denissa uttered, speaking to a man who was stood in front of her.
He thanked her immediately, grabbing her hands in his and then paying her off with a dozen coins.
"Thank you" He breathed, then proceeded to leave the cottage.
She heard her door creak as the man stepped out, followed by light footsteps approaching.
The sound drew closer to her, alerting her that there was another presence in the cottage.
Squeezing her moonstones tight in an attempt to protect herself, thinking it was Someone who meant harm, she snapped her head up immediately, just to be met with the face of Orion, staring back into her blue eyes.
"Orion" She uttered, in a low voice, sighing and dropping her hands down. Her voice filled with much energy, realizing it was only him.
"Denissa" He greeted, with a curt nod.
"What brings you to my presence?"
"Love?" She asked.
"None of that?" Orion chuckled in response.
"I'm here on a mission"
"I'm journeying to the Wispy meadows to get the staff of Geneorah" He revealed to her.
She dropped her moonstones at the mention of the Wispy meadows, moving towards him, while peering at him closely.
Hurrying over to the door immediately, she turned its lock and then brought her curtains down.

"The Wispy meadows, you say"
"And you journey alone?" She asked.
"I've got company?" He responded.
"But what business have you got there, Orion"
"That, I can't reveal to you, Denissa"
"I'm truly sorry"
A sigh escaped her lips, while she smiled weakly.
"And you're here for my help"
"The crystal stone, I'm certain"
"Yes" He uttered immediately.
"We've been told of what lies in the Wispy meadows. The horror, Precisely"
"I'm here to beg of your help. I need the crystal stone to guide me through my entrance into the meadows" He said to her.
She remained silent, staring on at him.
"Please Denissa!" He pleaded.
"I've never asked anything of you"
She turned around, crossing her arms together on her chest, contemplating, if she was to trust him or not.
"Do you doubt me?" He asked.
"I don't know what to believe, Orion"
"The crystal stone is made up of elements dangerous to man. Could bring forth turmoil, when used for the wrong purpose" She said to him.
"Believe me, Denissa. It's the Wispy meadows I'm going to"
"I'll return the stone, as soon as I get the staff" He assured her.
"But No, Orion. You mustn't return the stone. It has to remain there" She uttered immediately.
"Why?" He whispered out of fear
"By then, it would have been corrupted with the horrors of the meadows" She spoke in a low voice.
She stepped into a room, returning with a box, a clear stone placed in it.
Orion's eyes rested on it, knowing fully well its content and how much of help it was to him.
Grabbing the stone out of the box, Denissa placed it into the hands of Orion, hovering her arms on it, and then saying some prayers.
"I wish you luck, Orion"
"And please, be safe" She uttered to him.
He nodded at her, thanking her sincerely and after bidding her farewell, he walked out of the cottage, while she stared on at his figure from the windows.
