Sebastian Hernandez's Point of View:

It's been three days since we made the new plan and it's now Wednesday. School has been uneventful the last few days which was a change in pace. Normally there would be so much drama happening that you couldn't keep still but ever since Carissa's mom pulled her out of school it's been quiet.

I haven't heard anything about her which I don't know if that was a good thing or not. Ria didn't seem to be worried at all as she walked beside me and smiled at something that Katy whispered to her.

Sarah and Chris were back home and Jacob was sad about it even though he hasn't said anything to us but we could all tell.

Spring break was approaching and was just a couple of weeks away. I had asked my parents if I could use the cabin this year but now that I have Ria I'm not sure what she's planning on doing.

We walked into the cafeteria to grab some lunch since they had pizza today. Ria was a definite pizza fan so we decided to eat here today.

"So what's everyone doing for spring break?" I spoke up after taking a bite of the pizza. Only Matt, Katy, Ria, and I were here today. Rex had a massive headache which I don't get since he barely uses his brain and Jacob wasn't feeling like coming to school I guess, I didn't get a chance to ask him.

Matt jumped up excitedly, "my dad's going to be home for a while so we're going on a mini-vacation this year to the Bahamas"

"That's amazing man," I was happy for him, his dad was in the military and was deployed for some time it's good to hear that he'll get to spend some time with him.

I honestly don't know what I would do if my dad was gone all the time, being in the military no less. I'm sure my mom wouldn't be able to stand it either. It was then that I noticed that Katy and Ria didn't answer.

"So what about you two?"

"Well I don't have anything at all planned," Katy said sheepishly "was just planning on hanging out with Anna"

"And I was going to wait to talk to you about it later," Ria mumbled as she took a bite of her pizza.

"Well my mom and dad gave me permission to use their cabin, Rex and Jacob are coming along and I was hoping you guys would come with and make a trip out of it"

"Omg that sounds like so much fun," Ria giggled as she hugged me.

My heart warmed at her reaction. I was nervous and worried that she would say no but luckily she didn't and she agreed.

"Thanks so much for inviting us baby," she pecked me on the lips.

"No problem love"

She turned to face Katy who was looking excited too. I bet the fact that Rex would be there is an incentive for her.

"We can finally get in the water and wear our bikinis"

"There is a pool right?" she asked me as an afterthought.

"We've got something even better," I smiled at her.

"Really?" she asked as she bounced in her seat "what is it?"

"We do have a pool but there's also a lake in the backyard"

"Well damn yall are rich rich"

Everyone laughed at what she said and I joined in too. I'm sure she's nothing like Jasmine and is just teasing me about this.

"I know Matt will be busy but what do you say?"

"I mean I'd have to ask my parents but it should be okay," Kath replied.

"I'm sure mom and dad won't mind either," Ria told me "and I can always get my parents to talk to yours Katy"

"That'll be great," Katy readily agreed.

Ria glanced over at me with a devious smile on her face, "so Katy my dear friend care to tell us what's going on between you and Rex?"

Oh, she just went right ahead and popped the question. With all that's been going on we hadn't had the chance to properly interrogate them. This seemed a perfect time as any I guess to ask. Rex wasn't here so Katy was either going to be tight-lipped or open up about it. Let's see which she chooses.

"W-what do you mean?" She asked nervously as she ran a hand through her hair which I found out was a tell-tale sign of how nervous she actually was.

"Oh just you and lover boy have been getting really close lately" Matt piped in as he watched her squirm.

"So?" She squeaked before quickly clearing her throat "I-I mean he's not my boyfriend or anything like that"

"Nobody said anything about him being your boyfriend," I smirked.

Matt looked about ready to roll with laughter, Ria was trying to hide her smile and Katy looked stupefied. I kinda felt bad about calling her out like that.

"Ugh fine," she rolled her eyes.

"We aren't dating but we hung out for a bit without you guys"

Ria gasped loudly catching the attention of some of the people nearby us. Katy was red from embarrassment and tried to sink into her seat.

"How could you not tell me this?" Ria cried causing Katy to get even redder in the face.

"Could you not be so loud?" Katy whispered sending me a pleading look as if begging me to stop my girlfriend from mortifying her. I pretended to not see because honestly, I wanted some details too.

"How could you?" Ria cried jumping to her feet in an overly dramatic act.

Matt and I watched in silent amusement as Kath jumped to her feet and forced Ria back into her seat. She looked around frantically at the persons who were watching us.

"Fine I'll give you all the details later...just please quit with the shouting"

"As you wish," Ria happily began to munch on her pizza again.

I swear that girl was something else entirely.

My phone vibrated in my pocket and I pulled it out to see a text from Jacob.

The USB is ready- Jacob

I guess I knew what he was up to now.
