《Return Of The Nerd|||| COMPLETED》Chapter 23-Jeremy

Sebastian Hernandez's Point of View:
I looked over at Ria who appeared to be deep in thought. She had just come off the phone with her parents and she's been quiet ever since. I could practically hear the wheels turning in her head as she concentrated on what she was thinking about.
"What's wrong?" Rex asked when he noticed I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying.
"Ria's been awfully silent since she came off the phone," I pointed at Ria who hadn't noticed me.
"That's interesting," he nodded "who was she talking to?"
"Her parents"
"That couldn't have gone well if she's so quiet"
"Only one way to find out Jacob," spoke up "group meeting"
"We need to talk," he told everyone who immediately stopped what they were doing and walked over to us. Katy nudged Ria in the shoulder to get her attention and they both walked over to join the rest of us. It was impressive how easily Jacob could command a room.
Ria finally looked over to me and offered me a small smile. If she's smiling then things didn't go as bad as I thought they did right?
"So what's up?" Matt asked.
"Well we have to discuss what's happened in the last couple of hours," Jacob stated looking as indifferent as ever.
"I just spoke with my parents," Ria piped up.
"And what did they say?" I asked quizzically.
"Well... we kind of left Jeremy in the house and my mom and dad knows that he's there"
"Weren't your parents coming over in the morning?" Katy asked.
"Yeah they are but we have cameras so they must have checked them," Ria shrugged as if this was completely normal for her.
"Okay the dipshit is still in your house we need to get him out," I shared my thoughts with the group.
"I agree with Sebastian on this," Jacob flex his arm "we shouldn't have left him in there in the first place"

"We didn't really have a choice did we?" Ria questioned him with a perplexed look on her face.
I looked between the two of them as everyone else watched on with interest. Ria was stood tense while Jacob looked slightly worked up which was a change from his blank stare. I had no idea what was going on here due to my lack of mobility in the last couple of hours.
"You're right," Jacob shifted awkwardly on his feet "let's move on to more important matters"
Well, that situation changed pretty fast.
"For whoever is still unaware Sebastian fell down the stairs after Jeremy hit him and he lost his footing, Jeremy was aiming for Anna but Bash stepped in"
Hearing my childhood nickname brings back all sorts of memories. Jacob used to call me Bash all the time but it's been a while since I've heard him call me that. He looked at me as if the very same thought crossed his mind then he looked away.
"Why was the son of a bitch going to hurt my sister?" Michael asked us perplexed "who invited the idiot anyway?
Ria froze where she stood when she heard what her brother asked. Sure, she had eventually told me about what she had planned for Jeremy but that was only because I was pestering her to tell me what was wrong with her and for her to tell me why she was so distracted. No one except for Sarah and Chris knew why Jeremy was there except for the both of us and I was afraid that if she said the real reason she wouldn't forgive herself for what happened to me.
"I invited him," I blurted out.
"The fuck," Michael shouted.
Sarah quickly shushed him, "we're in a hospital for Pete's sake, lower your voice"
"Why the hell did you invite that son of a bitch to my sister's party?"
I went to answer quickly thinking of a valid enough reason but Ria interrupted me, "he didn't invite him, I did"

"What the hell is going on?" Michael asked as he turned to face Ria "why would you want him to be around you?"
"Don't you hate him?" Rex questioned her looking confused.
"I do hate him," she hissed causing Rex to reel back in shock at her hostile reaction.
A tear rolled down her cheeks as she looked at everyone in the room. It was painfully obvious when she ignored my stare.
"He made me feel like shit like I was unworthy of love and vulnerable. He took my confidence away from me and left me with vulnerabilities and a high level of insecurity. Do you know what it's like to look at yourself in the mirror on wonder what God was thinking when he made you?"
We remained silent.
"Of course, you don't know how that feels, you weren't the one he humiliated in front of the whole school. I invited him there so that I could get my revenge for what he did, my only regret is that Seb got caught in the middle of it"
She fell silent and no one said anything. I watched her as she sighed and moved towards the door. I was going to stop her but I could see that she needed some space to process everything. She closed the door quietly behind her and as soon as she was out of the side all eyes turned towards me.
"Why didn't she tell us?" Katy ran a hand through her hair.
"She didn't tell me either," Michael grumbled.
Katy rolled her eyes, "she didn't have to tell you"
"I'm her brother," Michael retorted slightly offended by what Katy said.
"And who is she more likely to tell things about her ex, you or me?" Katy posed the question with a smug look on her face.
Michael went to defend himself but paused with a defeated look on his face, "you're right"
I threw my hands in the air at the two, "she didn't tell me either"
"You're her boyfriend," Katy looked perplexed "how could you not know what she was up to?"
"Just because I'm her boyfriend that doesn't mean she tells me everything," I pointed out.
"Then why didn't you look surprised at her outburst?"
"I found out about her plan," when we went to get the ice.
"That's why you were freaking out when I told you she went up the stairs," Michael blurted out as the pieces started to fall in place for him. "I thought Jeremy was aiming for you but he was really aiming for Anna"
I ran a hand down my face, "I tried to stop her from going through with it but I was too late and by the time I reached her Jeremy was ready to retaliate"
"So you quite literally took the fall for her," Rex reflected in awe "that's so undying love type shit"
Jacob glared at him while I simply laughed.
"I'm just going to shut up now," Rex mumbled as he sat in one of the chairs.
"This has all been eventful and I'm glad you're okay Sebastian," Chris spoke up he's been quietly observing us for a while "but what are going to do about Jeremy, he went after Anna which means he probably wasn't as drunk as we thought and he knows what we were trying to do"
"We definitely need a better plan," Rex mumbled.
"We have to know if he knows or not before we do anything," Jacob declared.
"I think I have an idea," Sarah smiled evilly.
Jacob looked at her with a soft look on his face as she told us the plan. It was a good one. It'll let us know if Jeremy knows anything and whether or not he wants to get back at Ria because of what happened.
"Autobots roll out!"
"Shut up Rex!"
