Adrianna Rodriguez's Point of View:

"You have got to be kidding me?"

I giggled as Katy looked at Jeremy in disgust. Katy and I were currently inside my room working on our homework when we heard a car pull up at one of my neighbor's houses. Jacob and his mom recently moved in so Rex and Sebastian were around my neighborhood more often. When Katy heard the car she thought it was Rex but it was just the cheater arriving home.

I watched as she sat back down with a defeated look on her face. I honestly don't know why she doesn't just tell him that she likes him or why he doesn't do the same for that matter. It's obvious he likes her as well.

"Why don't you tell him that you like him?" I decided to ask what was on my mind.

"Who said anything about me liking Rex?" she held her head down as she randomly started flipping through pages of her book.

"You didn't have to its written all over your face"

Her face turned red but she chose to stay silent. An evil yet brilliant plan came to mind to get her to admit that she in fact had a crush on Rex.

"Oh well Sebastian told me that Rex told him that he liked you," I said nonchalantly as I looked at my nails "it doesn't matter anyway since you don't like him in that way"

"Oh my Gosh really?" she shouted excitedly as she bounced on my bed "I can't believe this"

She did this for a whole minute before she looked at me and the pointed look I had on my face. I was right about her liking him and she knew it.

"Fine," she pouted "I like him"

"Well duh I already knew that"

"Did he really admit to liking me?" she asked nervously as she fiddled with her fingers.

"No, he didn't"

She looked down sad and so I nudged her, "he's just as stubborn as you but Seb agrees with me that he likes you too"

"Aww," I smiled when she blushed once again.

"Shut up"

"So I heard that Clarissa's mom is planning to ship her off to a convent"

"Don't you have to have some amount of standards to be allowed in?" I dissolved into laughter.

"Her mom clearly doesn't know that," she laughs along with me.

"What about Jeremy?"

"What about him?" I asked confused.

"What epic revenge plan do you have planned for him?"

I leaned back in my bean bag and thought about it but nothing came to mind. If I'm being honest I haven't thought much about Jeremy ever since Sebastian and I started dating. He made me forget all about him.

"I haven't really thought about it," I sighed.

"Oh really?" she asked shocked.

"I mean I've just been so focused on other things"

"And by other things you mean Sebastian?" she smirked.

I rolled my eyes then smiled, "yeah Sebastian"

"That's great, you and Sebastian are perfect together," she grinned "does that mean you no longer want revenge, I mean we did get Clarissa pretty good and by extension Jeremy, since they think he's the father"

"Hell no, I might not feel anything at all for him but I won't forget that I was dumb enough to be with him and he cheated on me, on my birthday of all days is when he chose to show me his true colors"

"So what are we going to do?" Katy asked curiously.

"Egg his car? dye his hair green?"

I laughed, "I made Clarissa's mom think she was pregnant you think I'd let Jeremy get off that easy?"

"You're right"

"I'll think about it"

"Let's finish this homework, I need your help with this history assignment," she groaned.

I cracked up. Can you tell that she hates history?

Katy had left to go meet up with Matt to help him with his chemistry homework. I wasn't the best at chemistry so I decided that it was best I stayed home. As usual, we were having a family dinner and I was currently in the kitchen helping mom with the dishes while dad and Michael were busy with setting the table.

"How's school going sweetheart?" mom asks as she stirs the pasta.

"It's going great," I smiled "Sebastian and I are almost done with our biology project"

"That's lovely dear, how is Sebastian doing? I haven't seen him in a while"

I snorted, "that's because dad almost scarred him for life, I'll ask him to come over soon"

"Awesome"

We worked in silence as mom finished the pasta and I baked some chocolate chip cookies and got out the chocolate ice cream because mom was craving it. Luckily for us, the pregnancy has been relatively easy so far, and luckily for dad, we're always stocked up on what mom is craving so he doesn't have to leave to get it. I can't wait for my baby brother or baby sister to get here. As I looked at mom munching on a cookie I'm suddenly racked with guilt for my initial reaction to her when I found out that Jeremy cheated. Even though she was the one who encouraged me to be with Jeremy it wasn't her fault that he cheated and it was wrong of me to even imply it.

I walked over to her and wrapped my arm around her waist hugging her tightly, "I'm sorry mom"

"What are you apologizing for Anna?"

I looked up at her, "the day I found out that Jeremy cheated I didn't mean to make you feel as if it was your fault, I was just upset and it came out that way"

"Oh Anna," she pulled me even tighter to her "its okay sweetheart, I was never mad at you over it"

"But it was so mean of me," I sighed.

She pulled away to look at me just then Michael walked into the room but ran back out when he saw us. We both laughed but my look became somber as time passed.

"Honey, what am I to you?"

I looked at her baffled, "what do you mean you're my mama?"

"Exactly love," she used her hand to caress the side of my face "When I gave birth to Michael I was only 17 and your father was 18 and then you came along just 11 months later. Your father and I were both young, practically kids raising kids but we pulled through it all. When your brother or sister come into the world 5 five months from now we'll make the same promise to him or her that we did to you and Michael"

"What's that?" I sniffled.

"We'll love him or her no matter what even when he's being obnoxious because that's what kids do they act stupid sometimes"

I burst out laughing, "I love you mom"

"I love you too"

"And if I were trying to get back at a cheating ex I'd hit him where it hurts, sabotage his chances with the ladies," she winked and went back to munching on a cookie as she headed for the dining room.

I thought dad was bad but mom is something else.
