Adrianna Rodriguez's Point of View:

Katy and I continued to watch as Sebastian and his friends continued in our direction. I didn't miss the way Sebastian was staring at me. I could have sworn a flash of recognition crossed his eyes but it was gone before I could be sure.

They walked past us only stopping to check us out from head to toe but not once did they say anything. We watched as they turned the corner and went down the hall. As soon as they were out of sight I breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look at Katy. She looked at me as if in a daze, I called her but she didn't answer. I called her name again but she still didn't answer. I rolled my eyes at her and thought of how to snap her out of this daze she was in.

An evil smirk made its way on my face when the perfect idea came to my mind. I took a step closer to her, waiting for a second to see if she snapped out of it. She didn't move at all and so I took the opportunity to pinch her hard. She jumped from shock and quickly snapped out of it.

"What the hell Anna!" she screeched "what'd you do that for?"

"I'm sorry," I laughed holding up myself from falling to the ground. It was just too funny to not laugh.

"It's not funny," she rolled her eyes holding onto her arm and rubbing it gently.

"Your absolutely right," I continued laughing "it's absolutely hilarious"

She just stood there hands on her hips, glaring at me from head to toe.

I'm sorry," I sobered up "let's just get to class before the bell rings"

"Okay," she mumbled, "what class did they give you first ?"

I looked down at the schedule in my hand and saw that I had biology first thing today. I couldn't help the wide grin that spread on my face, I was the best at biology before I left and I'm quite sure I could pick up where I left off if I put my mind to it.

"I know that look," Katy smirked at me "you have biology, don't you ?"

"I do"

"You know," she started "Sebastian has that class too so whatever wicked ass plan you have can start there"

"Oh really now...I just might do that, thanks a lot Katy"

"No problem Anna, just let me know how it goes"

"I will...wait what do you have now ?"

"History," she groaned looking up at the ceiling as if the answers to her problems could be found there.

"It's not all that bad," I said to her.

"Oh but it is," she groaned once again "I don't wanna learn about any dead guys"

"It's not all that...." I was cut off as the bell rang signaling that it was time for class.

Katy sighed looking at me like a lost puppy.

I reached out a hand to pat her on the shoulder "wish I could say I feel your pain but well...I don't"

"Whatever," she glared at me "I'll meet you at your locker after class"

"okay"

We parted ways as Katy's class was on the other side of the building and I made my way to my class.

"Ding!! Ding!!"

I speed walked to class so that I wouldn't get boxed in when all the other kids came rushing to their other classes.

I opened the classroom door to find a few girls and boys already inside. They stared at me as I walked in taking a seat at the back of the class because bad boys normally would sit at the back.

Just as I sat down the teacher came in and closed the door. She was a beautiful woman with short blonde hair and glasses that framed her face nicely.

She had a stern look on her face as she headed straight for the teacher's desk at the front of the class. She sat down not looking at us directly once.

"Good morning children," she said cheerfully shocking me completely at how quickly her stern expression turned into a radiant smile "I'm Miss Cooper your biology teacher for this year"

She glanced around the room until her eyes landed on me.

"It seems we have a new student," she spoke to the class "why don't you introduce yourself to the class"

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes because this was just ridiculous. I had to introduce myself to people who already knew about me but seeing as though I dress and act differently I probably should.

I slowly stood from my chair a small smirk on my face as the guys looked my way.

"Hey...My name's Adrianna Rodriguez," I paused as gasps filled the room. My smirk widened as they all stared "and I have so much planned for this year"

With that, I took my seat leaving them stunned and Miss Cooper confused.

Just as she was about to speak the classroom door was pushed open and Sebastian Hernandez slowly glided in. He didn't even glance once at Miss Cooper, who instead of stopping him just watched him walk to the back of the class sitting right next to me.

"Right," Miss Cooper cleared her throat "before we go any further you have an assignment to do in pairs"

She stopped speaking as groans filled the room "stop the whining this is worth 80% of your grades"

"Now listen to the pairs you'll be in"

I glanced at Sebastian to find him already looking at me. We continued to stare at each other as Miss Cooper listed the names. He turned to look away as Miss Cooper continued talking.

"....Amy and Josh, Karla and Nigel, Britney and Casper and finally Adrianna and Sebastian"

He turned sharply to face me an unreadable expression on his face.

His stare was fixated on me and was so intense that all I could think about was staring at his eyes forever.

I turned away from him before his stare consumed me.
