Kuroo swung his backpack over his shoulder and Kenma stared at him with a suspicious expression. Practice had ended and Kenma notice that ever since Kuroo returned from the nurses office with (Y/N), he had been acting weird. Kuroo also didn't tell him how he got hurt in the first place.
What's he hiding?
"Kuroo." Kenma called out as they walked towards the entrance. Kuroo turned to face him, with the same odd expression he had been wearing.
"What's wrong with you?" Kenma asked, bluntly.
"You know there's better ways to say that." Kuroo commented.
"Answer the question." Kenma muttered, Kuroo looked away from Kenma's gaze and silence filled the air. Kenma patiently waited for the answer, knowing that his friend would tell him eventually.
Somethings definitely wrong.
"......you were right." Kuroo finally admitted, making Kenma raise his eyebrow.
"Huh?" Kenma asked.
"You were right, I like her." Kuroo muttered, running his hand through his hair.
"Took you long enough." Kenma commented, making Kuroo sigh.
"Do I always seem smitten when I looked at her?" Kuroo asked, remembering seeing his expression in the mirror when she had left.
"Sometimes." Kenma replied.
"God, I'm so stupid." Kuroo muttered,"What am I going to do now?" He complained.
"Confess?" Kenma suggested, not even batting an eye.
"No, I can't." Kuroo replied, making Kenma stare at him confused.
"You can't?" He questioned.
"I don't want to remind her of Kohaku." Kuroo explained, his expression turning gloomy. Hearing Kohaku's name Kenma stared at the, now, faint red mark on his face.
"He's the one that punched you right?" Kenma asked.
Silence.
Kohaku punched Kuroo?
"....Kuroo, I think you can still confess. (Y/N) knows you're a good guy, you wouldn't do anything to harm her." Kenma explained.

"Wow, is Kenma giving me love advice?" Kuroo joked.
"Shut up." Kenma muttered.
The two exited the school and began making their way to the train station. The silence now was comfortable, Kenma now concentrated on his PSP. Kuroo glanced up at the night sky, it was dark blue and stars were scattered all throughout.
They eventually arrived at the train station and stood on the platform, waiting patiently. One distracted with his thoughts and the other distracted with his game.
....confess?
Do I confess?
There's no way right?
"....would you do it?" Kuroo asked, breaking the silence between the two.
"Hm?" Kenma questioned, not paying attention.
"Nevermind." Kuroo chuckled, scratching the back of his head. The black haired boy stared blankly in front of him, his thoughts drifted to (Y/N).
I like her, huh.
This feeling was so foreign to Kuroo, he had a couple of girls confess to him in his life but he never liked anyone, at least not like this.
He was confused to say the least.
Very confused.

(Y/N) stood next to Lev, the two making small conversation as they always did. It seemed to become a routine, where Lev would always talk to her in the morning before she headed off to class.
"Oh, what happened yesterday with Kuroo?" Lev asked, remembering that (Y/N) had brought Kuroo back to the gym. She explained the situation to the coaches but the volleyball team was left in the dark.
"O-Oh, I just ran into him and he was hurt." (Y/N) replied.
"Ehhh? I didn't know Kuroo was so clumsy." Lev commented, making (Y/N) laugh nervously.
"He's not that clumsy." (Y/N) mumbled, knowing how he actually got hurt. Lev shrugged and he glanced over behind her, someone catching his eye.

"Oh! Kuroo!" Lev called out, making (Y/N) also turn around. The two third years eyes locked with each other and Kuroo immediately looked away, (Y/N) not noticing his face turn a bit red.
"Good morning, Kuroo-" (Y/N) greeted.
"Good morning." Kuroo muttered, rushing past the two. (Y/N) stared at Kuroo confused as he seemingly ran away from the two.
Huh?
"That's odd, Kuroo usually stays and talks too." Lev pointed out, making (Y/N) nod her head slowly. She put a smile on and turned to face Lev.
"Yeah, maybe he's just busy." (Y/N) reasoned, trying to convince herself as well. She was going to ask if Kuroo's nose was feeling better, after he got hit.
He's probably alright......he seemed alright.
Kuroo's not in pain right?
I hope not.
