Tuesday 7:34 AM
(Y/N) slowly walked down the hall towards the stairs, she had arrived at school quite early, the hallways only having two other students. Wearing a soft smile, she enjoyed the peace and quiet.
It should always be this quiet-
"Senpai!" A familiar voice shouted, making (Y/N) turn around.
"O-Oh, good morning, Lev." She greeted. (Y/N) wasn't the best at socializing, but Lev was. The first year quickly befriended her, excited by the thought of new friends.
"Are you going to walk home with us today?" Lev asked, eyes gleaming with hope. (Y/N) almost let out a small laugh, but it was cut short as she heard a whisper.
"Who is that?"
"(Y/N)?" Lev asked, snapping her out of her trance. (Y/N) nervously fiddled with her fingers, suddenly feeling very self conscious.
"Uh, I'm not s-sure." (Y/N) replied, her brain suddenly scattered.
"Aw, okay." Lev pouted, his eyes suddenly lit up as he remembered something important. He quickly dug through his pocket and pulled his phone out.
"I forgot to ask yesterday. But could we exchange numbers?" Lev asked.
"H-Huh?" (Y/N) stammered, too wrapped up in her head.
"I want to see all the photos you take of us." Lev explained,"Plus, we're friends now." He continued, his smile never faltering.
We're friends?
Hearing this, (Y/N)'s worries slowly washed away replaced with excitement. She briefly forgot about the whisper she had heard earlier and pulled out her phone as well.
"Y-Yeah, we're friends." (Y/N) confirmed, a small smile on her face. The two quickly exchanged contact information.
"Awesome." Lev exclaimed,"I'm looking forward to texting you." He continued, making (Y/N) laugh a little. His excitement seemed contagious.
"Okay, I'll be g-going now Lev." (Y/N) said, still laughing a bit.

"Bye, bye." Lev exclaimed, his smile never fading. (Y/N) gave him a small wave before walking up the stairs and to her classroom. As she left, she noticed Lev getting curious looks from the very few people that were there. (Y/N) took in a sharper breath, trying to calm down.
It's okay, I'm okay.
I shouldn't care.
(Y/N) successfully calmed herself down and entered her own classroom. She glanced over and spotted a certain black haired boy talking to Kai.
"Good morning, (Y/N)." Kai greeted, making Kuroo also turn around.
"Morning, (L/N)." Kuroo also greeted.
"G-Good morning." (Y/N) stammered, she quickly walked past them and to her seat that was in the back. She was still a bit uncomfortable around Kuroo, not really sure what to say around him. Meanwhile, Kuroo was sulking next to his friend.
"I hate this." Kuroo muttered as buried his face into his arms.
"You just have to keep trying." Kai reassured, laughing a bit,"She'll warm up eventually." He continued, patting Kuroo's back.
"I can't believe Lev befriended her so quickly." Kuroo complained.
"He did? That's kind of unexpected." Kai commented, their personalities being polar opposites.
"Yeah, you should've saw them yesterday. They talked the whole way home." Kuroo whined, remembering Lev excitedly chatting with her.
"Maybe you should ask Lev for help instead." Kai joked.
"Ugh." Kuroo groaned, running his fingers through his hair. Kai glanced over at (Y/N), who was staring out the window, wondering how to help Kuroo get closer to (Y/N).
"Whatever, I'm going back to my class." Kuroo mumbled, getting out of the chair that he had took from another one of the students.
"Wait, Kuroo." Kai exclaimed, getting his friends attention.
"Eat lunch with us today."

Tuesday 12:04 PM
Kai stood outside of the cafeteria, waiting for Kuroo to show up. He had told (Y/N) to go on ahead into the cafeteria and sit at their usual table. Earlier this morning, Kai had came up with an idea that would help Kuroo in becoming friends with (Y/N).
Eventually, Kai spotted Kuroo walking over to him along with Kenma and Yaku. He gave him a friendly smile and waved a bit.
"What's going on?" Kenma asked.
"We need to help Kuroo and (Y/N) become friends." Kai exclaimed,"So, we're going to eat lunch together today." He continued.
"Wow, Kuroo. Didn't think you'd have this much trouble with a girl." Yaku teased, making Kuroo roll his eyes in response.
"There was a misunderstanding." Kuroo muttered.
"Hm, I heard Lev and her exchanged numbers today." Yaku continued on.
"What-"
"Okay, okay. Let's go inside, she's waiting." Kai interrupted. The four of them walked in, grabbed the school lunch and Kai led them over to the table he and (Y/N) always sat at. Along the way, Kuroo and Yaku kept on bickering with each other.
As they approached the table, they were surprised to find that Lev was also at the table, happily chatting with (Y/N). She seemed to be softly laughing at him. Kuroo stared at (Y/N), almost mesmerized.
....pretty....
"Oh! Hi guys." Lev exclaimed, happy to see his teammates. (Y/N) turned around and her eyes widened as she saw the other volleyball players.
"I thought we could eat lunch all together." Kai explained, taking a seat next to her. (Y/N) nervously nodded her head, not sure what to think about this situation. She relaxed a bit once they were all seated, luckily she didn't have to sit next to Kuroo.
Instead, Kenma took a seat next to her, much to her surprise. (Y/N) quickly realized that Kenma didn't talk a lot didn't seem to care about her presence.
He's quiet, that's nice.
"What are you doing here?" Yaku asked as he took a seat next to Lev.
"I saw (Y/N) eating alone, so I came and sat here." Lev replied.
"What were you guys talking about?" Kai asked.
"Volleyball." Lev replied,"I was just telling (Y/N) that I would be the next ace." He exclaimed proudly. A series of snickers was let out, making (Y/N) very confused.
"You can't even spike the ball properly." Yaku muttered.
"(Y/N), he was the one who hit the ball into Kuroo's face." Kai whispered, making her eyes widen. She stared at Lev a bit surprised, she automatically assumed that because of his height he was pretty good at volleyball.
"Hey, I'm not that bad." Lev protested.
"You're not good either." Yaku retorted.
"Hmph, (Y/N) can decide for herself when she sees me play." Lev complained, he suddenly turned his attention to (Y/N) who sat in front of him.
"You will come and watch us play one day, right?" Lev asked.
"Uh, I don't know much about volleyball." (Y/N) warned.
"I'm sure you've picked up a few things from Kai." Yaku reassured.
"Plus, you can always ask Kuroo if you don't know anything." Kai added on, nudging (Y/N)'s side,"I'm sure he's willing to help you." Kai continued.
"Yeah, feel free to ask me anytime." Kuroo confirmed, making (Y/N) nod her head.
"Oh, uh, o-okay." (Y/N) agreed, making Kuroo's heart beat increase.
......do I have a heart problems?

The Rise of the Winter Wolf
What would you do if your entire life was suddenly changed at the drop of a hat? The entire population of the world that you were born into suddenly transported to another planet along with the rest of the intelligent inhabitants of the Milky Way Galaxy. A strange System talking to you about abilities and levels without a care for your opinions. Thousands of monster spawning dungeons placed around the new world without a care for the new inhabitants. And if those weren't bad enough, a forced invitation for one thousand random individuals to compete in a livestreamed competition within a dungeon with the rank of Administrator as the prize. You don’t know? Well, it’s actually pretty simple. You survive. Our story follows Wolf Adler as he, along with every other human on Earth, are faced with a strange blue box filling up their vision, warning them about an upcoming reappropriation of every being of sufficient intelligence to a new planet for the initialization of some sort of System. Will he perish in this new world? Or will he thrive? Except for the first 4 chapters, Book 1 has been moved to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. Except for the first 4 chapters, Book 2 has been moved to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the book. There is only one main protagonist, but the story does have more than one perspective that it is told from. It's mostly first person from the main protagonist and third person perspective for the livestreams. The beginning of the story has also been massively rewritten since most of the reviews as of 1/23/2022. The release schedule right now is dependent on my college classes and coursework, but I always try to keep it to at least one chapter every other day, if not one chapter every day. I do not write sexual content or harem stuff. I am also not very interested in writing romance, so if you think you might see some romance, then you are probably wrong unless it's only a slight hint at romance or a slow romance very far into the story. Lastly, know that I don't like long-winding antagonists that get on everyone's nerves and last throughout the entire story. And I do like plot twists, so if you are predicting something that you think is going to happen later on that you dislike, (particularly around the middle to end of book two) then it likely won't happen.
8 408Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image
