《The Gray Brothers✔️ (Wattpad version)》Senior class trip

For our senior class trip, we were going to Washington, DC. You would think we would be ecstatic about it, but we weren't. Why may you ask? Because this is to be "educational." Not only were we going on a boring trip, but since my loving parents decided they wanted to fight over my trust, this left me with no money to pay for said trip. FML.
I sat in my room working on homework when Nash came in. "Shouldn't you be packing?"
"Nope, because I'm not going."
"Why not?"
I looked up to see him standing there with his hands on his hips. "Because Brian and Tricia had the courts freeze my trust until they can make a decision, which means no money." I went back to my homework. "No money means no senior class trip."
"Well, it's a good thing my parents already paid for your portion."
I looked up at him. "What?"
"Yeah, they paid for yours and Nix's when the papers came home a few months ago."
"Why would they do that?"
"Because as Dad said, you're part of the family. Mags, when you know someone as long as we have known you and you have known us, you become family." He took a seat on my bed next to me. "Plus, I get to be a chaperone."
"Huh?"
"They needed some chaperones, and I volunteered." He smirked.
"Uh-huh, sure. Is this because I'm going?"
"What do you mean? You said you weren't going."
I pushed him playfully. "Shut up."
He chuckled, then leaned over and kissed me. I guess I was going on the senior class trip. Let's see, Nash will be our chaperone, Nixon is going, and so are my friends. What could go wrong? Don't answer that.
We had to be at the school early, so I made sure I packed the night before. The only thing was I'm not an early morning person or a morning person. Period.
We waited with our bags to get on the bus when I hung on Nash's back, using him as a pillow.
"Look at Nash," Nixon said to the girls, laughing.
"Someone, get her coffee, stat." Kat chuckled.
"Eh, she'll be fine. She's a little tired," Marcy said.

"Listen up, Seniors. When we get to the hotel, we'll give you your room assignments. Stick to your rooms. There will also be an itinerary of the trip. Stick to it. The last thing we need is to do is to call your parents and tell them we lost their pride and joys," the teacher said. "Now, we need everyone to load their stuff and then board the buses."
"A little help here," Nash told Nixon.
"Come on, sleeping beauty," Nixon said, waking me and getting me on the bus. God, I need my bed.
I sat down in a seat. After everyone got settled, Nash took place next to me.
"Um, Mr. Gray, since you'll be a chaperone, we prefer you to sit with the other chaperones and not a student," a teacher said.
"He can sit with me," a woman said, causing me to wake up.
"Since I'm not a worker for the school and I volunteered to be a chaperone, I'm fine sitting with my girlfriend," he said, shooting the woman a look.
"Very well," the teacher grumbled, sitting down.
"I swear they were as bad as when I was going to school here," he whispered to me, causing me to laugh.
The bus ride was long. When we got to the hotel, we got our room assignments. I was rooming with Kat while Nixon and Nash roomed together, and Marcy and Macey shared a room. At least I was with someone I knew and liked, and that's always a plus.
We got settled in, and I plopped down on my bed.
"Some things never change." Kat giggled.
"Well, I need to make sure the bed is comfy."
"Is it?"
"Oh, yeah." I flailed around, causing her to laugh even more.
There was a knock at the door.
"Come in!"
Nash and Nixon walked in and gave me a weird look.
"What? I'm testing out the bed."
"It'd be better if I were testing it out with you, but whatever," Nash mumbled. I wonder what his problem was? He seemed moody ever since the bus ride.
"You girls hungry?" Nixon asked us.
"Starving," Kat said.
He held out his hand, and she took it. I walked over to Nash, and he walked away. I think it was that time of the month for him.

We all talked at dinner, but with Nash and me, his answers were short, and his tone was off. So, I carried on a conversation with Nixon and Kat.
On our way back to the hotel, something was definitely off between Nash and me. Is this what this whole trip would be like with Nash? Him short with me and ignoring me? Well, two can play at that game.
We got our itinerary and split into groups. I watched as that one teacher talked with Nash and laughed while Nash was treating me like a second-class citizen.
When we returned, I went up to my room, leaving him to talk to her. I had worn out my welcome. As I laid on my bed reading, Kat came in. "There you are! We're getting something to eat."
"You go ahead. I'm not hungry."
"You sure?"
"Yep, I'll get something later."
"Okay."
Kat came downstairs.
"Where's Mags?"
"She's still in the room."
"Why didn't she come downstairs?"
"Because you're a tool."
"How am I a tool?"
"Let's see. Since we got here, you have been short with Maggie, offered no affection, and jumped the teacher yesterday."
"I didn't jump the teacher. I was being friendly. And for your information, I'm trying to do my job as a chaperone."
"By being a douche to your girlfriend? Good job, chaperone." She rolled her eyes and walked away.
"Fix this before tomorrow," Nixon said as he walked away.
Nash walked upstairs to my room and knocked on the door. I answered it, and he barged in. "What is your problem?"
"My problem? I'm sorry if my boyfriend is king douche at the moment."
He looked at me and furrowed his eyebrows. "That's not fair."
"No, what isn't fair is how you're treating me. Ever since the bus ride, you've been acting like I'm nothing. It's like the minute we had sex, everything changed between us. Maybe I'm not that appealing anymore. You know, since you have already obtained the prize." I sat down on my bed, frustrated.
"Is that what you think? That you don't appeal to me?"
"Yes. No. I don't know. It's not like I'm any good at this."
He walked over and sat down next to me. "Baby girl, you appeal to me in every way."
I turned and looked at him. "Then what's wrong with you? You seem to like it's that time of the month." I raised my eyebrow and hand at him.
He smirked and shook his head. "I figured if I were standoffish with you, then we wouldn't want to tear off each other's clothes."
"That is by far the dumbest thing I have ever heard."
"Guy logic because let me tell you, I would like nothing more than to strip you naked and ravish you right here," he said in a husky voice.
I turned red and stood up. "Being standoffish isn't such a bad thing."
He chuckled and stood up. "I'm sorry for being a doof. But seriously, I want to be with you right now."
"Lock the door."
He gave me a look as I gave him one back. He locked the door, and we finally got some alone time. Good thing I brought protection because, in our haste, his protection was back in his room.
I lay on his chest afterward, making circles with my fingertip on his chest.
He had his arm wrapped around me as he stroked my arm with his free hand. "Better?"
"Much." I propped myself up. "Why were you flirting with the teacher?"
"I wasn't flirting. I was being friendly."
"You were flirting."
He gave me a look, and I gave him a look. "Okay, fine. I was flirting."
"You're a tool. You know that?"
"Yes, I know. Trust me, I know." Then he pulled me to him and kissed me before we went another round. After that, we fell asleep.
As far as the rest of the class trip, Nash quit his flirting promptly, well, after I flirted with another guy. You didn't think I would let him off that easy, did you?
The rest of the trip was excellent. A little boring but nice, and yes, we sneaked into each other's room. Nixon Gray not getting a chance to be alone with his girlfriend Kat. It would never happen in a million years.
