《The Gray Brothers✔️ (Wattpad version)》All hell breaks loose at a wedding

Since the Grays got invited to the wedding and the girls as their dates. The girls were getting ready in my room.

"Girls! Hurry, or we'll be late!" Nate said.

"Beauty takes time!" Pat said.

"Could you, oh, I don't know, speed up the beauty process?"

"Oh, fine! But don't blame me if I have one false eyelash on!"

We finished and came downstairs. I walked over to Nash, and he said, "You look beautiful."

"Well, you look handsome," I responded in kind.

"Yeah, yeah, you're pretty. Nash's cute. Can we go, please?" Nate was trying to usher us out of the door. Since there were quite a few of us, we had to take three cars.

We arrived at the wedding on time and took our seats. I don't know why Nate was so worried about us being late. The ceremony was boring but nice.

Now the reception was when the fun started, or should I say all hell broke loose, but I'll get to that later.

We found our assigned seats and sat down. Then they served dinner. The food was okay, but nothing I would brag to people. That reminds me. If I ever get married, I want good food.

Then the dancing started. It was your typical dance order at a wedding. Husband and wife first, daddy-daughter, blah, blah blah. It wasn't until the boys showed off their moves, along with Nate.

"What's going on?" I asked Pat.

"Just watch, sweetie," she said.

Nate walked over to the DJ and requested a song.

"Attention, everyone! We have a little dance some people requested to do. Please clear the dance floor." The DJ announced over the microphone.

Nate and the boys stepped out onto the dance floor. The DJ started the song, and so did they. We watched as they danced in sequence. I watched in shock as they made unified moves. They were great. People clapped as they moved together.

"Where did they learn to dance like that?" I asked Pat.

"Nate felt the boys should learn to dance. Said it was essential when they met a girl they liked."

They finished, and everyone clapped. Everyone went back to dancing, and Nash walked over to me.

"That was amazing."

"Yeah, we like to impress people with our dance moves." He smirked. "Want to dance?"

"I thought you would never ask." I smiled.

Nash led me onto the dance floor, and we danced. It was a lot of fun. Well, that was until an argument broke out between Bryson and Nixon.

"Now what?" Nash asked.

We stopped dancing and walked over to hear them yelling at each other.

"You're such a tool!" Nixon said.

"What's going on?" Nash asked Nixon.

"It's Bryson being Bryson."

"Your brother is mad because my brother won," Bryson said.

"Won what?" Nash asked.

"Sarah, who else?"

"This isn't a competition. Sarah and I broke up a long time ago."

"If you say so." Bryson shrugged with a smirk.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing Nash. Let's leave this tool," Nixon said.

"No! I want to know what he means." Nash turned to Bryson. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about you couldn't keep Sarah satisfied as much as my brother could." He smirked.

"What?"

"Damn, you're dumb. My brother had always planned on stealing Sarah from you, and he succeeded. Guess the best man won. It goes to show you that the Grays aren't all that."

Yep, the shit hit the fan.

Nash hauled off and decked Bryson, and that's when things got interesting as Nixon and Nate tried to separate them. Mike and Sarah rushed over, and things got heated.

"Is it true?" Nash barked at them.

"Is what true?" Mike asked Nash.

"That you two were sneaking around behind my back?"

"What? No!"

"Oh?"

Sarah and Mike looked at him as he glared at them with balled fists.

"Nash," Sarah said.

That was his confirmation as he hauled off and hit Mike, causing him to crash into the cake.

"My cake!"

"Screw your cake, you cheating whore!"

She glared at him. "You know what? I'm glad we broke up, and I don't regret cheating on you! Mike is ten times the man that you will ever be! I always knew you had a thing for the neighbor girl that you stared at, you perv."

Oh, hell, no! I refuse to stand there and let her say those things about Nash. I walked over and smacked her across the face.

"Damn," the brothers said.

"Don't you ever speak that way about him! He is way more of a man than your husband will ever be!"

"You're nothing but a worthless bitch!"

That was all it took, and I lunged at her. We fell into the cake and wrestled around on the floor. I wanted to rip out all of her fake hair extensions.

"Get off of me!"

We struggled, and I got in a few good whacks, as did she, until they pulled apart us. Our hair was a mess, and we had cake all over our clothes and face.

"Nathaniel, it's time you and your ungrateful brats leave," Sarah's father said.

He looked at him in the face. "Bob, I didn't like you in high school, and I didn't like when our kids dated. And I sure in the hell didn't want to come to this abomination you call a wedding. So, on that note. Good luck with the divorce." He and Pat left with us.

"Don't worry about sending us a Christmas card next year!" Pat said.

What a mess? So much for a happy occasion. Nash got hurt, and I was a big freaking mess. I must admit it was nice to see him hit Bryson and his brother since they both deserved it.

I took a shower, cleaning the cake out of my hair and cracks. I put on some clean clothes and found Nash lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling.

I walked over and sat down. "You okay?"

He sighed. "Yeah. I guess I should be angrier than I am, but I'm not."

"How come? Not that I don't enjoy you getting ticked off, but I figure you would be more upset than you are."

He propped himself up and looked at me. "That's the thing. I'm not. I mean, yeah, Sarah and I were together for a while, but she saw how I looked at you. Many people saw it, except for me."

"What do you mean?"

He sat up. "When we were younger, I always saw you as my little sister. You know that pesky sister that won't leave you alone."

"Um, thanks?"

"Come on. I was a kid, and you went through your awkward phase. Then one day, I noticed you weren't this awkward, pesky little sister anymore. Remember when we used to talk at night?"

I smiled at the memory. "Yeah, I was in my bedroom reading, and you saw my light. You asked me what I was doing and when I told you, you started talking to me about books, then it morphed towards music and movies. Then you would always stop by and chat. It was nice to have a friend to talk to while growing up. Then out of the blue, you stopped. I figured you hated me so that I would hate you."

"But that's the thing. I didn't hate you. I started to like you. But you were only fifteen, and I was afraid it would cause problems for you. I also remember Sarah and I used to fight about it a lot."

Listening to him made me remember those nights. Oh, how I had missed them. Nash and I had become friends at one point because of those nights.

"But Mags, I also realized that I had feelings for you but didn't know what to do with them. How can you truly be angry about something that happened when you didn't truly care about that person but someone else? See what I'm saying?"

I looked at him. "I guess I can see your point. On a bright note, you never have to worry about me cheating on you." I grinned.

He rolled his eyes and pulled me into a kiss. "You kicked ass tonight."

"I did, didn't I?"

He chuckled.

I don't think the Tilsons will invite us to their house, which was fine by me.
