Lee's POV
I arrived at Stampy's house earlier than usual. He opened the door almost at once. "Ah Lee! You're early. Christine is still asleep." I was disappointed. It must have shown on my face cause he laughed. "I know you'll make a very nice son-in-law." I looked at him, appalled. "Stamps! She's 13 and I'm 17. I'll be in college in a year and she'll lose interest in me." "Uh huh. Yeah. Sure."
Christine's POV
I had a nightmare again, only way more intense than the last one. The mysterious man creeps closer. I see Dad on the floor, knocked out cold. Lee is trying to protect me, but there's a deep gash in his left arm. Beth is over Dad while the man beats her. I'm crying harder than I have my whole life. I don't know what it means. But I know it's a sign of things to come.
