--------------
I run into the hospital everyone looking our way,James pulls me over to the reception "look she's six months pregnant and she fell on the kitchen floor and she's been like this for about half an hour"I rush the woman nods and doctors come out taking her out of my hands and putting her onto a bed they rush her off and I run with them until a woman stops me at doors
"sorry sir your gonna have to wait in the waiting room"she says I shake my head watching them push her away "no"I exclaim I feel a hand on each of my arms "no"I mumble and I'm turned around James pulling me into a hug "she's gonna be okay Jace I promise"he whispers, tears flow out of my eyes
---------------
"Ella Norman?"a woman shouts I look up my eyes feel bloodshot and I feel like an absolute mess, like half of me is missing "yeah yeah"I exclaim standing up Ashton on my hip "come with me"she smiles James stands up with Luke on his hip and we follow the woman down the corridor "now before you go in I just wanna tell you that everything is okay and her and the baby are absolutely fine"she says I smile "thank you so much"I tell her she nods and then walks away

I open the door and laying there is Ella looking bored as ever "oh thank god she's alive"James exclaims I shake my head she looks over smiling I put Ashton down and walk over to her "I'm never leaving your side again"I tell her pulling her in for a hug she laughs hugging me back
If I ever lost Ella I don't think I'd be able to live
My main focus is meant to be on this but tbh I have loads of ideas for 'Jaces life' so expect chapters being published there even though it's meant to be on hold

Lineage Saga (Kingdom Building Fantasy)
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The continent of Erdenia is in flux, nations large and small move to swallow their neighbors. Roving bands of marauders pillage the countryside, and the seas are choked with piracy. Against this backdrop upon the central island of Syroneika exists the Mercan League, an alliance of city states ruled by the Archon from his seat in the Capital, Merlabria. Yet all is not well beneath the surface. The Archon’s health is waning, while the House of Mercan appears on the verge of conflict. Both princes vie for the Archonship, with the aristocracy close behind looking to settle old scores. In the immediate west the Althai Federation is in a state of civil war, the conflict spilling over the border into the League, while nobles’ squabble over petty slights. In this time of growing conflict, the Archon has summoned the warlord of the southern frontier, bulwark against the horrors of the dark forest, and former Grand Scholar of the court. Behind the scenes pieces are in play, and the Scholar possesses numerous enemies, many still envious of his meteoric rise to power. A simple trip to the capital may be more than it appears. However, the branches of fate are fickle things, a single encounter could change the course of history. Or perhaps that is simply the will of fate, and nothing has changed at all, who could know? Could the meeting between a simple slave and a warlord truly be fate’s bough? And if so, where could that lead?
