《Fallen Miracles》His order is absolute- Chapter fourteen

"Take me to.. to see Akaashi?" I repeated, taking a moment to fully process what I had just been told. Amusement bubbled up in my chest and before I could stop it, it spilled out in the form of a strained chuckle.
This guy has to be joking
"Yeah yeah, sure you are. What's next you're gonna pull me out of Karasuno and move to some bullshit private school here?" I continued sarcastically, ignoring the flickering looks my parents sent each other, " Akaashi told me to never come back to Tokyo, me simply being here playing volleyball is defying his order, so why the fuck would I want to see him, Raijin? His butler should know his moods better than anyone," I smirked.
However, my amusement quickly turned into anger as I locked eyes with my dad receiving nothing but a thick and heavy silence from him. Kageyama and Natsu's uncomfortable energy was flowing off them in hoards adding to the tension in the room. Realization hit me like a ton of bricks.
Holy shit, they actually plan to pull me out of Karasuno. Oh hell no this isn't what I signed up for. And here I thought that my parents actually WANTED to see me.
"Oh my god. You're gonna pull me out of Karasuno. You did this, didn't you dad?" I spat facing him head-on, his eyes lifeless and cold, making me chuckle to myself.
"Listen, Son, you have no choice, it's already finalized and arrangements have been made there's nothing you can do. You will go see Akaashi and I will drag you there myself if I have to."
"Fuck you dad! I can't believe how stupid I was! You never actually wanted to see me, did you? You two are too set on your fucking little fantasy about me being a basketball star right?!" I was once again met with silence which ultimately confirmed my answer. I swiftly stood up and stormed past my father and the butler who stood in the doorway and into the kitchen, collecting mine and Kageyama's jackets before storming back into the lounge.

"Kags let's go. I think we have both overstayed our welcome," I said, passing him his coat. I could see a wave of relief wash over him, his shoulders visibly slumping as he gingerly grasped the navy blue jacket I was holding.
"Wait Sho, please hear us out!" My mother begged, " Your father and I have only ever wanted what's best for yo-"
"Oh, bullshit! You two have never even given a single thought about what was best for me! If you wanted what was best for me you would have helped me sort shit out not send me away!"
"Shoyo we care so-"
"If you cared you wouldn't have pushed me to the edge with basketball, you would have seen my passion burning out, and you... you would have seen I was struggling mom," pain laced my voice which made my mom wince, even my dads exterior faltered for a split second "I understand that I did some messed up stuff but the only time you actually chose to acknowledge it was after I got kicked off the basketball team when you obviously knew what was going on the whole time."
I roughly wiped the tears that were brimming in my eyes. "The only reason I was able to better myself was because of my friends in Miyagi. They helped me find meaning and they helped me find love which is more than you two ever did. They helped me see that I'm more than some money-making business proposition!"
Tears were streaming down my mother's face at this point her mouth agape, eyes darting around the room while she searched her brain for a response. She knew I was right and there was nothing that she or dad could say that would make my point invalid. My hand found Kageyama's quickly linking my fingers with his and pulling him to his feet giving him the signal to get ready to leave.

Next, I made my way over to Natsu who was still sitting on the couch, and knelt down in front of her. Her gaze was cast down to her shaking hands in her lap, her bangs covering her slightly damp cheeks. My heart broke when I saw her bloodshot eyes and I immediately pulled her into a tight hug. Her small frame shook against mine as she buried her face into my shoulder and wrapped her shaking hands around my neck.
"Please d-don't leave me here again Sho. I-I can't I- they're unbearable please don't leave me again," She sobbed, clinging to me for dear life. I kissed my sister's temple and stroked her back murmuring comforting words into her ear trying to soothe her as much as I could. What kind of brother am I if I can't do anything to help my sister?
"Shhh hey Natsu shhh it's ok everything's gonna be fine. Hey, this is different from last time, we can call and text each other all the time and maybe you can come and visit me in Miyagi sometime. How does that sound?" I cooed to which she only nodded glumly in response.
"I love you so so much Su. I promise you I will be back for you ok. I'll be better."
"I know you will. I love you Shoyo."
With those final words to my sister, I stood up giving Natsu one last kiss on the head before turning around to loop my arm through Kageyamas. I gave a stiff nod in my mother's direction barely acknowledging her. We started for the door and almost made it through if it were for the tall well-dressed man who blocked us just as we reached the door.
"Raijin, get out of our way would you."
'I'm sorry Orange but I can't have you leave. I'm on official business, you know how it goes," He sneered, smirking almost evilly down at me causing my body to shiver slightly.
"You heard him. Get out of our way," Kageyama snapped through gritted teeth.
"No can do. You see the young master ordered. It would be a real blow on my reputation and that of your family if I didn't complete my duty." Raijin replied in an almost taunting way. One question stood in my mind: What does this have to do with my family's reputation?
"Why so silent Orange? Oh, I see you actually want to know what I mean. Well why not an explanation from your father dearest, hmm Haruto?" He said smugly, pulling out a piece of neatly folded paper from his pocket and handing it to me. I snatched it from him reluctantly and started to read.
"Shoyo, you know I work for a very well-known company and that company is owned by the Akaashi family. Now that you have all grown older your friend Akaashi has become more and more involved with the company as he is going to inherit it in 2 years. The young master... shows no mercy not even to his father. I'm sorry Shoyo, for the sake of our family I had to sign this. He threatened to take away everything we owned," He spoke his face cold "I had to do what's best for my family and you. You can finally forget the last three years and focus on your basketball career while we get to continue to live among society."
My world was spinning. Forget. Leave Karasuno. Leave Everyone. Basketball.
Raijin smirked and lent down his breath, tickling my ear, "So you see Orange the young master sent for you, and his order is absolute.

The Puppy Project
"Give me my puppy!" I demanded, my eyes ablazed with fiery anger."Correction, it's not your puppy. It's our puppy," He smiled, but it was anything but sweet nor happy."You know what? Damn you! You're nothing but a cold, emotionless, and heartless bad boy!" I sneered, glaring at him fiercely. He chuckled at my words, taking a step closer to me. He slammed his hand unto the wall, trapping me, before leaning in close. "You got that right sweetheart but I think you got one thing wrong." He said, his eyes piercing straight into mine."And what is that?" I managed to asked, my throat seeming to get drier the more he looked at me."I'm neither one of those when I'm with you," and with those words, slammed his lips into mine.#1 in Strong-Female Character - 1/29/21#1 in Sarcasm - 2/4/21#2 in BadBoy - 2/13/21#3 in Teen Fiction - 2/13/21#1 in Mysterious - 3/4/21Copyrighted 2017.
