《Fallen Miracles》His Power- Chapter six

Hinata pov
A storm was brewing, grey clouds had started to form shielding the light of the sun. Light drops of rain could be felt on my forehead as I made my way to the court, my team hot on my trail throwing questions at me left and right. But I couldn't do it. I didn't have the heart to explain everything to them, so instead, I'm going to have to show them.
Turning the corner of the street the view of the local basketball courts became clear. The courts were mostly deserted as people were trying to find shelter from the oncoming rain. One lonesome redheaded boy stood at the three-point line of the furthest most secluded court shooting hoops on his own. Sucking in a deep breath I stopped to observe my opponent's movements, the sounds around me slowly draining away as I accessed a part of my mind that had been silent for so long.
"Hinata what is-'' Kageyama started. However, before he could finish he was interrupted by a soft ghostly voice. Like the rest of the team, Kageyama has started to become slightly impatient for answers from his boyfriend and being dragged along to foreign basketball court just wasn't cutting it for him.
"He can't hear you so I wouldn't bother questioning him at the moment"
"AHH! Who are you! And when did you get there!"
"Tetsuya Kuroko, Shoyo's former teammate, I've been here the whole time. Right now probably isn't the best time to try and talk to him. He's analysing the situation"
"He's ana-what now?"
I'd say because of his obnoxious attitude and the insane amount of confidence he has, Kagami is an excellent offensive player so he won't be afraid to get all up in my face to try and intimidate me. Judging by my predictions of his body stats his strength is jumping meaning dunks will probably be a favourite move of his. Stamina and Stability also seem to be in good shape. Hmmm, I've got it!
As I released the breath that I had been unconsciously holding in I noticed almost immediately things seemed clearer to me. Like I could see everything in a different light. Smirking, I made my way towards the court where Kagami was warming up, clearing my throat as I reached the wire fence leaning my shoulder against the pole that stood at the entrance which gained the attention of my opponent. His eyes widened in shock.

Hmph so he wasn't expecting me to come
"So the precious miracle decided to show up eh?" He said sarcastically, tossing the ball into my chest which I caught with ease.
"Well after the scene you caused back there in front of my team I figured I might as well. Can't have them think that I would turn down a challenge just like that." I retorted as I spun the ball on the tip of my index finger.
"You'll be wishing you did after I'm through with you shrimp."
"Is that so? Well if that's the case let's get straight into it. The rules are simple, first one to five points wins, basketball rules apply of course and no three-pointers. Got it?"
"Yeah yeah I got it, let's get this show on the road."Kagami grinned. He spun his head in the direction of where Kuroko and my team stood motioning for the phantom to come to toss the ball up for us while we made our way to stand around the centre circle.
"Ok ready?" Kuroko asked, looking back and forth between us receiving a confirming nod for the both of us. He rolled his eyes slightly, obviously irritated by our childish competitiveness but threw the ball up anyway. As soon as the ball left Kuroko's hand the both of us immediately contested for the ball. Kagami won the mid-air battle and proceeded to dribble past me before dunking the ball into the hoop. A smug smile tugged at his lips but quickly faded as he saw that I was wearing a smile that matched his own.
I've got you now
Kageyama pov
What the actual fuck is going on? Why am I currently standing on the edge of a random basketball court in Tokyo watching my boyfriend get stepped around by this Titan looking guy? Can someone give me a valid answer?
An eerie sigh pulled me back into reality as I whipped my head to the face in the direction it had come from. Next to me stood the blue-haired boy that had also been sitting at the table talking to Hinata back at Maji burger. I won't lie, this guy really gives me the creeps, it's like he doesn't have a presence.

Maybe he knows what's going on? Should I ask him? What was his name again? ah Ku-ku Kuroko! That's it! Hopefully, he'll tell me.
Clearing my throat I turned my body to face the stranger. "Uh, Kuroko was it? I was wondering... what the hell is going on! Why is my boyfriend playing basketball against that dude? He's going to get crushed in an instant!" I exclaimed, watching as the redhead scored the first basket, making me fold my arms against my chest in an attempt to protect myself from the sharp wind that had begun to pick up.
Kuroko creased his eyebrows in confusion.
"What do you mean? Shoyo will win." Confidence lacing his soft voice.
Now it was my turn to crease my eyebrows. How can he be so sure? Hinata isn't even half that guy's height! Even if he jumped at his maximum height he probably still wouldn't be able to reach the heights that that guy can.
Kuroko exhaled slightly, tilting his head to the side.
"Have you ever heard of the Generation of Miracles?" He asked it almost sounded like a whisper.
"No, I don't think so," I replied looking back at the team only to be met with shaking heads and the same confused faces that were probably reflecting my own.
"Wow, Shoyo really did keep you all in the dark about it. I guess I can tell you the extent of it but I won't go into too much detail." He said relaxing his body against the tree that stood behind him.
"The Generation of Miracles of Teiko Middle School. 7 talented basketball prodigies who were each blessed with natural gifts and skills that were unimaginable for the average middle schooler to possess. Pretty quickly they evolved into one of the most well-known middle school teams in Tokyo. In their whole middle school career, their one aim was to crush anyone who crossed their path, and they were successful in finishing their third year with 0 losses. However, if you are ever talking about the Generation of Miracles you will only ever hear people speak about the main five players. The 6th man, me, is nothing but a rumour nowadays, a shadow or as they say, a phantom, while the memories of the 7th have been completely erased. That 7th man is standing on the court because that idiot," he explained pointing towards the redhead, "has a goal to beat the Generation of Miracles so he can become the best player in Japan. but he is nowhere near ready, especially to go up against Hinata-kun; his egocentric personality blinds him sometimes. I consider Hinata-kun to be one of the most talented in the Generation of Miracles squad and when he uses 100% of his power. He is unstoppable."
Shocked. That is the only way I could describe my feelings. But there are some things that don't add up.
"Wait, but that doesn't make sense. Hinata grew up in Miyagi, h-he he went to Yoshigawa middle school he-'' Daichi muttered, obviously bothered by all the unclear information.
"Like I said I'm not going to go into the details of everything, that's something Hinata-kun should tell you when he's ready. If you want to witness his potential I suggest you start watching now." Kuroko explained motioning in the direction of the court. Just as I directed my attention to what was happening Kagami scored the first basket. The wide grin plastered on his face was suggesting that he was proud of himself. However just as fast as the grin appeared it vanished as he made eye contact with my boyfriend.
What is his power?
