"Why are you giggling?" Chris asked annoyed as he set his cereal bowl on the kitchen island. "Who are you texting?"

"Sadie." Nick said, looking up from his phone, waiting for Chris' reaction.

Matt looked up from his phone to watch Chris too, who simply blinked and turned to face Nick.

"What?"

"What do you mean 'what'?" He frowned, weirded out by his reaction. "May I remind you I'm fucking gay?"

"No, Nick, it's not that. I just-" He stopped himself and sighed. "How did you... start?"

"Huh?" Matt said. "Are you asking him how'd they started talking?"

"I-yes? I don't know." He let out another frustrated sigh. "Jacob Betrand DM'd me and told me she was waiting for me to message her." Then he smiled. "And she called me pretty."

"Jacob, as in Hawk from Cobra Kai?" Matt asked confused.

"Yes."

"What are you waiting, then?!" Nick hit his shoulder. "DM her, you dumbass!"

"That's what I'm asking you, motherfucker! What do I even say?"

"Give me your phone." Matt extended his hand and waited. "I know what to say."

Chris placed his phone on his brother's hand and held his breath as he saw him type something and form a line with his lips, containing a smile.

"Here."

"I'm going to kill you." He put a hand over his mouth. "'Saw you've been texting my brother. Getting a little jealous, to be honest?!'"

Nick formed an 'O' with his lips and took Chris' phone from his hand to read the message.

"Unsend it! Nick, unsend it!" He yelled desperately, his cheeks turning red.

"Can't do." He looked up from the mobile. "She's already typing."

"Fuck, give it to me."

Chris grabbed his phone again and sprinted towards his room, he shut the door with a loud crash and threw himself on the bed, waiting nervously for his screen to light up with a response from Sadie-fucking-Madden.
