《BORING.》The End.

Beep, beep, beep, beep.

Hmm? What's that sound? Is that my alarm clock? I reached out to hit down on my alarm clock but all I got was air. I slowly opened my eyes, to see a ceiling I wasn't familiar with. I sat up straight to see I was lying in a hospital bed and the beeping sound from before was a machine attached to my arm, showing my heart rate. I got up from the small bed and let my bare feet feel the cold white tiled floor. I was a bit light headed and my knees felt weak. Walking was a struggle, so I used objects around me to keep me standing. I ripped my right arm away from the heart rate machine, leaving it making a loud and long beep. There were two small windows in the room I was in, both covered by dark blue curtains, it was morning though, so the room was a tinted dark blue. Everything was a bit blurry without my glasses.

I started gripping the back of my gown, holding it closed, forgetting that it was open at the back. I looked down at my left wrist, seeing that I was wearing a green wristband. When I got to the door, my thoughts were interrupted by what some lady said on the television that was very low in the middle of the room. "Four kids murdered." I walked over to the T.V and stood in front of it, listening to every word the blond girl said.

"Four kids were murdered by and in a Treehouse in the middle of a forest four years ago today..."

That's when I stopped listening. Four years ago today? I thought. I've been asleep for four years? I kept trying to remember what happened but all I got when I tried was shattered fragments of broken memories. I walked over to the door and turned the silver knob, when I opened the door I was practically blinded by the bright rectangle light that was inside of the ceiling. I made my way down the hallway, pushing my hands off the walls as I went. I got to a door in the middle of the hallway, it had a girl with a triangle dress on the door, this was a bathroom! I entered the small bathroom and shut the door behind me, I gripped both sides of the sink and hunched over a bit. I looked up at my reflection. My hair was longer, my cheek bones were a bit more visible that before, probably from not being to eat or drink while sleeping and it looked like I had grown a good five or six inches, from my view anyway.

I heard a bunch a footsteps run past the door, about five or six people had just ran past me. I exited that bathroom and continued my way down the hallway in the opposite direction those people had been running from. I heard more running footsteps coming back this way and amused they were looking for me. I turned into the closest room I could find and shut the door behind me. It was another room that looked exactly like mine, but there were two beds, and two people resting on those beds. They were both asleep so I decided to get a closer look. I approached the bed on the left first, the one nearest to the window.

"Oh my god." I whispered, fighting back the urge to cry. "Will?" I asked. He was hooked up to all kinds of machines, he also had a tube in his nose helping him breathe. I looked back at the other bed seeing Anthony hooked up just the same. "Anthony?" An announcement came over the P.A but I didn't catch it.

"There is a patient that has just come out of a coma the is roaming around, her body very unstable, too much excitement, anger or sadness. Is critical."

"Come on guys, wake up! It's me! Izzy! We can leave this place!" I started to raise my voice but I didn't care, my friends were okay! I looked over at their heart rate machine's, they looked great! Words couldn't describe how I felt, but my happy moment was squashed was a nurse opened the door and saw me looking down on Will's body.

"I found her!" She shouted.

She gripped my left arm and began dragging me out of the room. "NO! I HAVE TO STAY WITH WILL AND ANTHONY! THEY'RE RIGHT THERE! I NEED TO STAY WITH THEM!" I was putting up a fight, the nurse was having a struggle bringing me out of the room. My arm slipped out of her hand but then I was grabbed again, by more than one nurse. They each took one arm and dragged me out of the room backwards. "Anthony! Wi-" I cut myself off when I saw exactly what everyone else was seeing. Two, empty beds.

What? They were right there! It felt like my mind was screaming at me. I was angry, pissed even. What just happened? The same scene played in my mind over and over again. The nurses continued to calmly drag me towards my room, till I planted my feet on the floor. The nurses jolted backwards a bit and looked down at me. With all my might I yanked both of my arms forward, letting them slip right through their hands. My body launched forward a bit from the sudden shift but I caught my balance. I made a mental and physical effort to stay on my feet while I ran towards the closest turn in the hallway.

Around the corner I went, I continued to the right when I saw an elevator at the end of the hall. I ran down the hall passing a lot of other people in wheelchairs, or just standing with canes. The elevator opened when I got there and two old people stepped out and I leaped in. I saw the two nurses I had just broke free from running towards me. I pressed L as many times as I could and the doors finally closed just before the nurses could reach me. I looked up at the numbers as a passed each floor. Turns out I was on the 5th. From the 5th floor to the lobby felt like the longest 60 seconds of my life. When the steel trap hit the ground floor, the doors slowly opened. I slipped through them before they could fully open, I didn't have time to wait for anything.

The lobby was swarming with people, most of their faces were stunned with shock when they saw me run through. I pushed past the crowd and when I got outside I saw old people being pushed around for fresh air, people smoking in the smoking area and green grass and trees. I stood there for a moment to take it all in when my legs gave out on me. My body couldn't take it anymore, I flopped forward onto my face but rolled over on my back.

My breathing had sped up, I was hyperventilating. Then it got worse. It felt like someone had reached in my chest and was squeezing my heart. This was it, the end was near. I rested my hands on my stomach and closed my eyes, I saw the flashing images of all the faces I could remember, to the people I've killed to the friends I once had. I stopped for a second and breathed in through my nose and out my mouth. All the broken memories had pieced themselves together one by one. I wished that I could have lived my life, better. The grass was prickly yet soft and the flowers around me smelt beautiful.

I drew my brows down in full concentration. I was trying not to react so much or make this a bigger scene than it already was. It felt like my heart was about to burst. I felt that pain till it stopped, dead in it's tracks.
