《The Not So Boring Girl: Craig Tucker x NekoReader》Chapter Twenty

I stared in awe around me. The boys had really taken down each of those lunatics. Craig came up beside me and placed his arm around my shoulder. I looked to the other boys who were dressed in costume and talking among themselves.

"I must be honest with you, your superhero costume is very underwhelming," I giggled.

Craig looked down to the paper pinned to his shirt with a big red 'S' drawn on it. "What can I say? I like the boring things in life...well except for you. You are the least boring person that I have ever met."

"Hey, I hate to interrupt you two, but what are we going to do with these people?" Token, who still wore his Tupperware on his head, asked.

"I'll take care of them," Cartman offered.

I gave him a curious look. "But what are you—"

"Don't worry about it you, stupid bitch," he snarled, dragging around the bodies to the exit.

I would usually be more upset about his vulgar words with me, but I couldn't be. Not seeing him dressed as a literal racoon to save my life. They all looked ridiculous, but they were also a lot more dangerous than I ever expected them to be when I first saw them.

Craig looked down to me and held a half smile on his face. I think he was really happy for once. He had seen happier than I had ever seen him-

"Ex-ex-excuse me?" someone stutter from behind us.

I turned around to see Tweek standing behind us and kicking his feet into the ground. I looked back to Craig, and that faint smile was gone.

"(Y/N), c-c-can I t-talk to you?" Tweek asked.

Craig protectively pulled me closer to him. "Tweek, so you have an idea on how that photo could have been taken of (Y/N) and I?"

"GAH! L-l-look I d-did-didn't know Be-Be-Bebe was going to d-do that," Tweek panicked. "If-if I would've kn-known—"

"Wait, Tweek, you caused this?" Token asked behind us, in disbelief.

I turned to see that all of the boys had joined behind us. None of them said anything. They all gave Tweek the same sad look- well except for Cartman.

"Who would've known Tweek could be capable of something like this?" He laughed. "Mad respect dude."

The other boys glared at him, but they didn't say anything.

"I-I am so s-s-sorry," Tweek said, as he started to tear up. "I was just so-so jealous, GAH!"

I felt bad for him, but Craig wasn't letting up as he continued to glare at Tweek.

"I-I miss my-my f-f-friends," Tweek confessed.

None of the boys had anything to say at that point, but I wasn't all that mad at Tweek. He didn't look like the type of guy that was capable of causing a disaster like this. He was just sad and heartbroken, maybe a little petty and crazy at that- but the boy did come off as rather anxious and impulsive.

"Tweek, it's okay," I said.

Craig looked as if he was about to argue, but I quickly cut him off.

"I get it. Craig was your first boyfriend. It has to be hard. I don't think you wanted things to escalate like this. There is no way you could've known this would happen," I said.

"Do-does that mean I c-can c-co-come back?" Tweek asked, with hopeful eyes.

I looked to the boys around me, for this was not just my decision to make.

"If (Y/N) is okay with it then I'm good with it," Clyde said.

I looked to Craig, for it was his opinion I cared about the most.

He instantly flipped Tweek off. "You can hang out with us again, but go behind my back again, and I'll make you regret it."

Tweek twitched. "OH GOD!"

After that, the rest of the boys dispersed, going back to cleaning the mess we had made in the school. However, Tweek stayed behind with us.

"Now what do you want?" Craig snarled.

"Cr-Craig, I am so-so sorry. C-can we just g-g-go back to being b-b-bes-best friends? Th-that's wh-what I miss the m-most," Tweek confessed.

Craig stared at him before turning the other direction. "Maybe, we'll see."

Tweek twitched on more time before going off on his own.

"That was really nice of you," I commented.

"Well, I'm not a bad guy, and I miss him, too. He was one of my best friends," he sighed, then looked to me with a smirk. "You won't be jealous of me hanging out with my ex?"

"You just convinced all of your friends to dress up like household superheroes to make sure I didn't leave. You have my full faith in you," I laughed.

"I can't believe how perfect this worked out. I'm about to go to my boring life with my not so boring girl," he grinned, before leaning down to give me a long kiss.

He then pulled me into a hug.

"Thank you, Craig," I smiled, nuzzling into him.
