《Easy Is Boring ✓》Chapter Fourteen

Beck and Jade decided to have their wedding as soon as possible.
So three months after the graduation, they were ready to get married.
They both decided on having their wedding at a small church, which Jade thought wouldn't be so bad.
Their wedding was going to be small and simple, but no less special. They were only inviting a few people, such as Cat, Tori, Andre, Robbie, Sikowitz, and their parents if they even showed up.
When Beck announced their engagement to his parents, they were enraged. They never liked Jade, and certainly didn't want him to marry her.
So Beck left, wondering why he even bothered.
They were still his parents though, so of course he invited them to the wedding.
But if they didn't show up, he wouldn't be surprised.
Jade also announced her and Beck's engagement to her own parents, who were divorced, so she announced the news to each separately.
Her mother didn't care. She just nodded and shrugged. And when Jade told her she was invited, her mother just shook her head.
Her father was disappointed, to say the least. And that was about it.
Jade couldn't stop the tears that flowed down her cheeks as she ran out of the house and slammed the door.
Beck and Jade both doubted their parents would show up to their wedding.

"You look so beautiful, Jadey!" Cat giggled, curling Jade's hair while Jade stared at her reflection in the mirror. "Beck is gonna have a heart attack when he sees you!"
Jade smiled, barely recognizing herself in the mirror. "You really think he'll like it? I've never worn white before..."
"Of course he'll like it!" Tori exclaimed, walking into the room. "You look gorgeous."
"Thanks, Vega."
"Beck is gonna love it, Jadey," Cat said, finishing up Jade's hair. "You look amazing in white!"

Jade smiled, cocking her head at her reflection. "I sure hope so."
"Alright, we should be out there in about ten minutes," Tori remarked. "Andre texted me and said a few more things are being tidied up."
"Okay," Jade breathed, standing up and smoothing out her beautiful white wedding dress. "I am...terrified. What if Beck doesn't like how I look in white? I've only worn black!"
Tori rolled her eyes, placing her hand on the goth's shoulder. "Jade, calm down. He will love it, I promise. He'll love any color you wear."
Cat nodded, agreeing with the brunette. "Tori's right! Beck loves you, and he'll absolutely love this dress!"
Jade nodded, letting out a breath. "Alright. Okay."
She hoped they were right.

Meanwhile with the guys, Andre and Robbie were both trying to calm Beck down.
"Dude," Andre started. "You'll be fine. Jade loves you, aight? You're gonna go stand at the altar and watch Jade walk down the aisle, and you two are gonna get married. Sound good?"
A small laugh left Beck's lips as he took a deep breath. "Yeah. Yeah, it'll all be fine."
Robbie placed a hand on his shoulders. "Jade loves you, man. Don't worry."
"Thanks guys."
"No prob," Andre then pushed his best friend outside. "Now go wait up there til the love of your life walks down the isle!"
Beck laughed and nodded, rushing up to the altar.
The music slowly started, and Cat waited by Tori at the altar, as well at Andre and Robbie.
Just as Jade thought, her father didn't show up to walk her down the aisle.
So she asked the only person who could.
"Sikowitz," she let out a shaky breath. "Can you...?"

The acting teacher chuckled, nodding at her. "Of course I can. It would be my pleasure."
"Thank you," she smiled. "Really."
"Anything for one of my favorite students," he replied, slipping his arm through hers.
The music still continued, and Jade slowly walked down the aisle with her favorite teacher.
And Beck's heart stopped.
Cat giggled at Beck, him being practically speechless. She knew it.
She smiled as she got to the altar, thanking Sikowitz who grinned at her and walked over to where his other students were.
"Wow," Beck breathed, staring at her.
Jade laughed breathlessly, a blush creeping to her cheeks.
"You look beautiful," he murmured, making her smile brightly at him.
"And you look very handsome."
He chuckled, his heart speeding up as the priest began the usual marriage speech.
"So do you, Beck Oliver, take Jade West as your lawfully wedded wife?" The man questioned.
Beck nodded. "I do."
"And do you, Jade West, take Beck Oliver as your lawfully wedded husband?"
Jade smiled, nodding as well. "I do."
"Then now, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Beck didn't think twice as he cupped Jade's cheek in his hand, pulling her in for a kiss as the gang and Sikowitz all cheered.
They pulled away after a few seconds, and they both were more happier than ever.
Andre and Tori looked at each other, and without thinking, leaned in for a kiss.
Cat giggled happily and slipped her hand into Robbie's, who grinned down at the adorable red head that he loved more than anything.
And she grinned back.
Sikowitz was happy for the newly wedded couple, and was completely honored to have walked Jade down the aisle.
Beck softly kissed his wife again before pulling her with him to their friends.
"I'm so happy for you guys!" Cat declared, engulfing Jade into a hug.
Jade grinned and hugged her best friend back. "Thank you, kitty."
"Congratulations!" Tori smiled as Andre wrapped an arm around her waist.
Beck and Jade both noticed and smirked at the two. "Congrats to you two, as well."
Andre and Tori couldn't help the bigger grins that spread across their faces.
"Now babies!" Cat exclaimed, causing Jade to blush. "I wanna be an auntie!"
Tori gasped. "I wanna be an auntie too!"
Jade rolled her eyes. "We're not quite there yet, hold your horses."
Tori and Cat pouted. "Aww!"
Beck laughed and they all spent a bit more time celebrating before the gang and Sikowitz had to go home.
They all bidded their goodbyes and left, and Beck instantly swept Jade off her feet, making her squeal in surprise.
"Ready to start our new lives together, Mrs. Oliver?" Beck asked, quirking an eyebrow.
Jade grinned and kissed him, meaning yes.
And they were now Beck and Jade.
Oliver.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

8 164Earth's Army In Another World
As the god's battleground starts to turn into anarchy with justice and prosperity disappearing and instead being replaced by pain and suffering, the goddess of Justice and Prosperity has to do something that no other god or goddess has done. Call upon the forces of a godless planet. She wanted the strongest, and got the strongest. She got armies from three separate countries, and has forced upon them a mission of no return. Literally. Like they can't return to earth unless they complete it. Without any governments, the armies are left to fend for themselves with a large amount of bullets, tanks, planes, and ships. This story will have a large amount of characterization and slice of life moments. I did an insane amount of research for this and poured so much time in, not just militarily, but other basic necessity things as well. Fights will be bloody, magic will be rampant, and the slice of life moments will just warm you to the core. (actual kingdom building)
