Beck really regretted agreeing to go with Meredith to the Full Moon Jam.

Meredith was sweet. And nice. Way too nice.

He didn't like too nice.

She was easy. Really easy.

Beck didn't like easy.

He wanted Jade. The only reason why he agreed to go out with Meredith was because he thought it would help him get over her.

But it definitely wasn't helping.

Meredith's sweetness and kindness just made him miss Jade more.

The two of them sat in lawn chairs next to each other, waiting for the showcase to start.

They both were talking with each other, and Beck found it highly annoying how Meredith would agree with everything he said.

"Uh, what's your favorite class?"

Meredith shrugged. "What's your favorite class?"

"Easy. Sikowitz's."

Meredith grinned. "Mine too!"

Beck rolled his eyes. "I'm shocked."

"I'm shocked too!"

The tanned-skin Canadian was having about enough, but still tried to be a gentleman. "Do you want my jacket?"

Meredith smiled, asking, "do you want me to wear your jacket?"

"Uh, well it's up to you- "

"But I asked you."

Beck let out a sigh of irritation and stood up. "I'm gonna go get a drink."

"Okay!"

He forced a smile at her, then walked over to where Tori was standing.

"Heyyy," Tori grinned. "You and Meredith huh? You guys gonna snoodle?"

Beck tried not to let out a scoff as he replied, "there will be no snoodling."

The brunette groaned. "What?! After everything I've done? I almost got attacked with toilet paper!"

"Look," he started, taking a sip from his red cup. "Meredith is...nice. Too nice. I think I've learned something about myself."

"That you're ungrateful for your friend who tried to set you up with a cute girl?" Tori frowned.

Beck shrugged. "No, I just think I like dating a girl who, you know, fights back."

Tori's brows furrowed in confusion. "You...?"

"I mean a girl who's got strong opinions," he explained. "And a big mouth."

"Why?"

He shrugged again. "Cause it's not easy. Easy's boring."

Tori nodded, trying to understand it all. "Okay, I get that. So, who's not boring?"

Before Beck could answer, Andre came forward to the mic on the stage. "Alright, let's heat things up for Jade West!"

Beck felt his stomach churn in anticipation. He was trying to get over her, no matter how much he wanted her back.

Jade took over the mic, and Beck took in her appearance.

A skin-tight black corset, a ruffled black skirt, black tights, and black boots. He couldn't deny how incredibly stunning she looked.

But when she started singing, all hell broke loose for him.

"You think you know me, but you don't know me~ "

Beck walked closer to the stage, and Tori watched him intently, slightly pointing her finger to him as Jade sang the lyrics that were meant for Beck.

"And the longer that you stay, the ice is melting.

But the pain feels okay, it feels okay~ "

Beck slightly nodded, taking in the lyrics she was singing.

It made him fall in love with her all over again.

Their fights, their screaming, their possessiveness.

Their kisses, their loving, their sappiness.

"But you're not afraid of me, and I can't convince you

And I don't have to

I think you know me~ "

And he did. He did know her.

He knew that the only reason why she was always so jealous and possessive of him was because she was scared to lose him.

He knew that even if she barely ever said those three words, she loved him.

He knew that their fighting and screaming with each other was just making sure they each still cared.

And they did. They cared so much.

He knew that no matter what, they would always love each other.

Always find their way back to each other.

And why, exactly?

Because they're Beck and Jade.

Beck found himself slowly walking up the steps of the stage and Jade placed her mic back on the stand, and he held back the grin that threatened to take over his face.

He looked at her, a smile gracing his lips. "I've missed you."

And he had. More than anything.

A small smile took over her lips as well as she responded, "so what are you gonna do about it?"

He stared at her for a moment, then walked up to her, cupped her cheek in his hand, and kissed her.

The crowd erupted into cheers, but the two of them weren't paying attention to the shouts of congratulations coming from the audience of students. Instead they focused on each other, Jade's arms wrapping around his neck and his were placed firmly on her waist, deepening the kiss.

From the crowd, Andre and Tori were ecstatic for the newly reunited couple on stage, and they clapped their hands for them.

Tori smirked, then turned to her best friend/crush. "You know, Cat hasn't dated anyone in a while."

Andre chuckled lightly, backing away with his hands up in mock-surrender. "You, are a dangerous person."

The brunette shrugged, a grin still playing on her lips as she looked back up at the couple on the stage.

"Beck," Jade murmured onto his lips. "We gotta go now."

Beck groaned but pulled away, taking her hand in his and pulling her off the stage and into Hollywood Arts.

She followed him into the janitors closet, where he pressed her up against the wall and resumed their kissing.

"I've missed you," he murmured softly.

She chuckled. "You've already told me that."

"But I need to say it again." Beck pulled away from her, brushing a strand of hair out of her face as he stared at her. "Life's been absolute hell without you, Jade."

Jade nodded in agreement. "Life's been hell without you too."

They both were silent for a moment, then Jade spoke up again.

"But what about the fighting?" She felt her chest squeeze that the thought of losing him again. "You said you were tired of fighting all the time. And I don't think I can manage not to start a fight...what if we fall apart again?"

"Then it's up to us to pick up the pieces again," he stated, cradling her cheek and stroking it with his thumb. "I can handle the fighting, as long as it's you that I'm fighting with."

Jade smiled, averting her gaze to the ground. "So we're really back together? For good this time?"

He nodded. "For good this time."

"And you'll never leave me again, right?"

"I promise I'll never leave you again," he answered. "I wouldn't dream of it."

She nodded, pulling him in for another kiss.

After they pulled away, he said, "I love you."

Jade was so happy that she finally had him back after all this time of being apart. So she decided to prove to him how much she loved him, as if the song wasn't enough.

"I love you, too."

A huge grin came over his lips and he kissed her again.

They were finally back together, as they should be.

After all, they were Beck and Jade.
