Death brings out a person's actual value and an appreciation for their talent. Look at all the writers and artists in the past. History is a witness to their endless struggle, accompanied by ridicule or ignorance. Most artists gained recognition for their work only once they were no more. Now we call their work masterpieces and are willing to bid for them in auctions for millions. I feel that the starving artist could have done well with that money during their lifetime. We wait too long to tell people we care for them. We never really encourage others to do well. Do we wish them well, or do we see them as the competition?
