Jakob Fowlhunter and Marie Budgerigar are bounty hunters who are always on the road; travelling from town to town, city to city, in search for wanted criminals that would fetch them some decent amount of gold in exchange for their life. A wicked job for wicked people as they say, but things weren't easy as it seems when THEY themselves are always on the run. Whether from vengeful barons or rivals with personal vendetta, there are always those who wanted them captured dead or alive (mostly dead though). But all of it would soon change when the two stumbled upon another curious duo; a former knight-wannabe adventurer and a travelling humanitarian doctor who isn't exactly a human. From there on, it's an all out adventure for four of them as they ventured across all of Erde; a world of wondrous magic, mystical beings, legendary warriors, kings of great and terrible, mighty dragons of all shapes and sizes and other stuff you would expect coming from a fantasy world archetype.

In the pursuit of the throne, Afi and Sylvia come to risk their very lives. Sylvia uncovers the relationship between soul, magic, and divinity itself, but even in research, there is peril. It is not an easy task to balance the strain on her soul with the demands of the upcoming battle. In this world, the soul is not an incorporeal concept. To the contrary, the human soul is a physical object, an organ which resides in the chest of each individual. It is a great source of strength, but also of vulnerability. Hardship can leave scratches and blemishes, or even break the soul in two. The soul is each person's connection to divinity, to the magic which is ubiquitous to the world. It enables the cultivation of gods, but old legends warn of demons emerging in the presence of corrupt intention, and of hollow warriors, with no soul at all. There are two sides to every page. Being the God of Hell is a bother [On temporary hiatus]
A group of people dies in a plane crash, but their souls are snatched away by an entity called the Highest One, that wants to make them the gods of a new world in order to guide and control its population. One of the passengers, Viktor, protests this, saying that the people of the new world should be entitled to find their own path in life without immortal beings ruling over them. The Highest One then ask Viktor if he really has that much faith in humanity, and after Viktor answer positively he made him into the God of Hell, tasked with redeeming the souls of the damned, as a way to test Viktor's faith in humanity... EDIT: I'm reworking this novel a bit, changing the first chapters from the "screenplay" form to standard prose. I should be done and start a shedule of one chapter per week at the end of february.
