《Mundane Musings of a Misunderstood Mind》CHAPTER 9

I would like to believe that loss is not permanent. Those who are separated from us have met us before and will do so again. Even when we merge into the infinite, they will be there with us in time. So why shall we grieve and lament since we have gone through this process innumerable times?

Does that mean that we inadvertently know every human being on this planet from a different time? Now that's a lot of people to know; it beats the heck out of the number of friends we brag about having on Social Media! So to all those people we claim to dislike, envy, or despise, we simply fail to recognize them in this temporary garb, and we are actually hurting the ones who are dear to us and here to teach us valuable life lessons. I guess "love thy neighbor" makes a lot of sense right about now. Since we all are created equal, can't we cut each other some slack and extend the olive branch?
