A liar that lies

at the brink of brine

crying tears of blood

with nothing inside

reveling in the pain

even as one break

stumbling in the steps

falling onto spines

knees are needled

as each cut is made

the dread in the soul

seeps rivers of red

This is the last battle

It is all that is left

the clanking of swords

even as the ears in pain

wailed for the years

of love and refrain

but the taste of betrayal

still too hard on the tongue

So I shall draw my dagger

To singe to thy skin

N' bury our singing laughter

In the cries of this rain

These feelings of mine

N' the feelings of yours

They make us pathetic

With a prophetic allure

That'll reflect in my eyes

From the edge of your sword

When we free each other

From the chains we adorn

I wish that our pride

Would let us run away

But you and I are kings

With our love tinted in blood

This is a story-based poem. In the poem, the leads are on a battlefield, they kill each other at the end. Tragic ik😂. I hope u liked this one, it's one of my personal favorites.
