this poetry book to deal with my demons, and while they still linger in my mind, it is finally time to put these many notes to rest.
First off, I wanted to thank you all for sticking around. Some of these probably didn't make sense or were so random, you had to look away. But still, you are all here and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
More than anything, these poems have been to help me and to help others. Saying so, I will be starting another poetry book, because I don't know what I would do without a place to vent. I cannot say for sure when it will be up... but hopefully soon.
Secondly, this poetry book is dedicated to you-- whoever you may be. Welcome to my world of things never said aloud; my words to my inner demons. Hopefully, even if it was just one poem in this book, the poetry helped you deal with yours as well.
No matter how dark this world gets, you are not alone. If you ever need a hand to hold or a friend to help, please don't hesitate to send me a message. Stay alive, frens.

Who is friend or foe? *Please note: The first book was finished in around 2016, and is also the first story I wrote, I was new to writing at that time, so parts of it haven't aged as gracefully as I had hoped. The territory of Palmetto, ragged and mean, was once the banishing lands for the kings of the Old World. In that sea of hills they exiled their enemies, their upstarts, the deposed tyrants and rebels who came too close. Ancient prisons emptied their depths into Palmetto. Persecuted tribes fled to the refuge of its hideaway valleys. After a century and some, the land of Palmetto had evolved into a patchwork of flimsy feudalism, cult compounds, and grift economies. The merchant princes, having built some gleam of stability, reached out to the Old World's new kings for help in raising the orderly sword of bureaucracy. The event known as the Papercut Revolution closed the First Era. The new dawn rose on The Directory, who took the yoke of power into their responsible hands and began to bring forth their Good Era.

The Ramayana - Lakshmila's POV
We have read The Ramayana as kids and always knew it to be the story of Rama and his consort Sita. Every character has an important role to play. But not all of them have found much importance is any of the version. One such character is Urmila and her story with Lakshmana. All versions mention Urmila's sacrifice as "Unparalleled" but none depicted it. This story is an attempt to present the story of Ramayana from Urmila and Lakshmana's POV. Note : This story is fictional. The characters are the same. This story is an insight of The Ramayana through Lakshman and Urmila's eyes. There would be Nobody's POV also. The events are the same but the depiction is part of fiction. Parts of the story is loosely based/inspired from Sita's Sister but I have taken creative liberty to give my character more edge and depth.
