deranged is what they called me,
losing any grasp on the voices in my mind.
trying to fit in with normality,
unable to walk the streets of humankind.
so deranged is what i turned into,
giving up the attempt to never once stand out.
you never really saw my integrity,
glancing my way with a look of constant doubt.
and deranged is how i'll leave this place,
marching side by side with the lost girls and boys.
we'll travel to a place where we belong,
leaving behind this world of plastic wound up toys.
