If I executed my demons,

then I'd lose all my angels as well.

And if I lit up my shadows,

I'd eliminate the part of me that is real.

See, it is quite the dilemma,

if only you could see.

That the things I hold onto the tightest,

are the very things killing me.

So I'll take a breath and sink underwater,

drowning in every sin that I thought was right.

See it's quite the dilemma,

wading through all the shadows that cloud my sight.

And you tell me to rid of my darkness,

yet my longest shadows are caused by my light.

See it's harder than you think,

trying to figure out exactly what is wrong and right.
