I bathe in my own suffering

Washing myself in my own blood

I pour salt in my wounds

To make myself cry

And once again earn your pity

I wait for you to shower me with affection

And then push you away when you do

Get mad when you stay away

And start the vicious cycle once more

I am my own worst enemy

I am the knife to my own throat

Begging for it to slice in and end my misery

All while I cry and play devils advocate

And then blame everyone else
