《Still I breathe》It must have been my fault, right?

I met you in the summer
When the sky was blue
And the clouds all melded
Together in a beautiful canvas
We walked so much and talked
You would've thought we were lovers
You made me feel like I was the only person
In the entire universe
But one day you showed me
Your true colours,
The light blues and beautiful yellows
Disappeared and a deep purple mixed with
A dark blood red appeared in their wake
I had no escape. You had trapped me
In the backseat of your car
I couldn't scream; I had no voice
No one would have heard me anyways;
I let you feel me up without denying you
But inside I felt like crying
The dark leather stuck to my skin in the places Where you had pushed my shirt up so you could Touch my skin
And without warning you grabbed me and yanked me down
I hit my head on the door, so hard I saw stars And I felt tears come to my eyes
Suddenly, you turned from a man to a beast
Right before my eyes;
Your black hair began to form horns and your eyes, They turned yellow and looked me up
The beast sunk its teeth into my skin and
Towered over me, even in the small backseat;
I could see the beast had one thing on its mind
It slowly began to take my pants off
I struggled but I was no match for a strong
Beast such as itself
The beast finishes what it came to do
And slowly changes back to a man;
It's as though the man can't remember
What he did to me as a beast
Suddenly he is the man who I fell for again
But this time every time I look at him
All I see is the beast flashing in his eyes
I can never look at him the same way again
He tries to explain the beast away and
Promises I will never see him that way again
But I don't believe him, I know it's not
The truth, I know I'm not the first one to
Have experienced the beast and I won't
Be the last one either. But instead of doing
Something about it I selfishly choose to do
Nothing.
