You walked back into your apartment and took a long sigh of content. After your day with Alex (which was immensely pleasing) you finally got to return to your lovely bed. Although you were still concerned about Alex. Last night had scared you, seeing him like that. And today Alex still seemed slightly shaky. But you knew you had to give him space and let him be.
Done with thinking for the day, you changed into your sleeping clothes with lightening speed and jumped straight into bed. The warm covers surrounded you and in three seconds you were sleeping soundly....
You "awoke" to the sound of laughter and cooking noises. But panic gripped your heart once you sat up and realized you were not in your apartment. 'Where am I?'. "Honey? Are you awake? Come downstairs if you are..." You froze. That was Alex's voice. 'He couldn't possibly be speaking to me...could he?'. Seeing no other way to find out you stood, and exited your room. You spotted those oh so familiar stairs and went down to the kitchen.
A small child was suddenly attached to your leg, making you jump in surprise. "Morning papa!" You blinked incredulously down at the little child who just called you papa. (author; I am not stating a gender because it's your preference what you want the child to be). But in your heart you didn't find this disturbing. Actually, you found it quit common. You scooped up the child and hugged them closely. "Good morning precious." You smiled.
You walked into the kitchen with the child in your arms. Everything felt so normal yet new. You turned and saw Alex cooking in the kitchen with a smile. "Hello, love." Your breathe stuttered as he pecked your cheek briefly, while also giving the child's forehead a peck. You set down the child and just stared at Alex. Could this be real? Certainly not...

You dared to lean back over and plant a lovely peck on his cheek. The delight it brought was immeasurable. "Good morning." Alex smiled wide and jerked his head towards the table behind him. "Go sit, I am almost done." With one lingering look, you turned and took a seat at the table.
The child sat at the table, looking excited for breakfast. "What are we having today father?" Alex winked over at them. "Your favorite my love; (insert food item(s) here)." The child looked extremely pleased and bounced all around their seat. You gave a hearty laugh. "Settle down, lovey. You'll get it soon enough."
Alex finally brought over the plates and served the food. "Let's eat!" More laughter and smiles followed the breakfast meal. You looked at the child and Alex, and in sudden wonder, felt immense love overflowing from your heart. 'I never wish to wake'. Alex gave you a puzzled look and grabbed your hand. "Are you alright dear?" You smiled back at him and kissed his hand. "Perfect. I'm perfect." The child squealed in disgust and laughed.
"Ewww papa that's gross!" You smirked at the child. "Well you are gross!" The child giggled. "No I'm not!" "Oh, yes you are!" And many more of the same nature ensued. Breakfast went by too quickly and you and Alex were cleaning the dishes. You set some aside and wrapped your arms around your lover and smiled. "I love you, Alexander." He smile softly. "I love you too, Y/N." You both leaned into eachother, and shared a breathtaking kiss....
The sunlight streaming in softly willed your eyes to blink open. You quickly sat up in shock. Although it was a dream, your lips tingled as if they had truly been kissed. A smile dawned upon your buzzing lips. You flipped back down onto your bed, and stared at the ceiling for the longest time. 'What a dream...'.
