You grunted and carefully blinked your eyes open. You were laying in a nice bed, with warm covers and sleeping wear that was not your own. You couldn't even tell if it was close to dusk or just the afternoon. You couldnt even remember how you got here, or where exactly here was. A sharp headache made you groan. You didn't remember much from last night, besides drinking like a peasant and loosing that fight. Which again raises the question...where were you?

"Are you awake?" An aggrivated looking Alexander walked into the room. Oh. Now it all looks familiar. 'This is Alexander's house'. You squinted at him. "Alex?" Alexander huffed angrily and crossed his arms. "So? Well enough to take yourself home?" You blushed and felt sorry. 'Wait what? Why should I feel bad?' You sat up a little higher. "I was fine Alex. I just decided to go to the bar for a drink and-."

"And get into a fight." Alex cut in angrily. You sighed, rubbing your temples. "How did you find me?" Alex went to his drawers and gathered some medical supplies. "The bartender recalled seeing us and the others all at the bar together. And since I live the closest, the bartender asked me to take you in."

You look down at your lap. "Thank you." Alexander scoffed. "You are an idiot." You were silent as he sat down next to you. He began to tend your wounds and scold you. "You could have died, or been seriously injured. Do you recognize how idiotic your fight was?" You didn't respond as Alexander ranted. "I had to rise in the middle of the night and come get you. I was extremely concerend you were in terrible condition."

His hands slowed working on a cut above your eye and he looked straight at you. "Do not do that again." You felt slight indignation rise. "Alex, I am no child. I may go around and do as I please." Alex scoffed and stood up. "Do as you please? Well I suppose idiots can't be taught!"

You gasped. "I am no idiot Alexander! And that's rich, coming from you. You're the reason I got into-." You stopped abruptly, heart hammering. 'Oh no.' Alex looked at you with silent shock. "Me? You fought because of something to do with me?" You felt your face pale. You stuttered aggressively. "I-I...I-Its...I just-" Alexander sat back down next to you. "No, I understand. Its because we fought nastily the other day."

You sighed internally with reliefe. When you realized you still hadnt said anything, you quickly commented. "Y-Yes. Thats it." Alex nodded. "Oh. Look, I never do this and when I do it isnt often so listen close... I am sorry." You blinked at him and he looked at you with sincerity. "Please, never do that again."

You felt your heart flutter. "I...Alexander I apologize. I wont fight again." Alexander held your gaze a moment longer. "Good. Because I will not wake up that late ever again." You let him tend your wounds with little complaints.

Was he truley that concerned? What does that mean? Why does he care so much? Your mind began to race again, and you started longing for another drink.

Alexander finally finished and released you. "Alright, that is the best I can do. I also have some pills for your headache." Alexander quickly grabbed the pills and you swallowed them with water. "Thank you." "Stop thanking me so much. It isn't a big deal."

Sitting up fully, you swung your legs over the side of the bed. "Well I appreciate your kindness and hospitality. However I will return back to my apartment now." Alexander stopped you. "No." You blinked. "What? Why?" Alexander gave you a steely look. "After that fight, I am scared to let you see yourself home. You will stay with me tonight."

You sighed. "Alex-" "No. And do not say anything else about it." Looking at him, you saw he was truly scared to let me go home. You frowned. "Alright. Alright. Your strain is mostly my doing anyways." You opened you arms, cheeks a flame. You pulled Alex into a short and apologetic hug. "I am sorry." Alex, after a momments hesitation, hugged you back.

After a momment you both parted. "I have writing I need to tend to, so i'll leave you be." You nodded. "Alright. Good evening." Once Alexander left, you sat back on the bed. A slow smile spread upon your lips. You tried to shake it, but you ended up letting it stay there.

'Alexander....what are you doing to me?'
