Bain and I sort ourselves out, brushing the snow from our clothes. Once we both have our skis clicked back on, we join the others at the bottom.

Fidel eyes us suspiciously. 'What took you so long?' He asks us both.

Bain and I glance at each other and burst out laughing.

'I fell over, and I kinda took Bain with me,' I tell them.

Everyone is looking at us now, but Bain just smiles at me.

'How cute,' Helene comments sarcastically, bursting the bubble.

'I think it's time we stopped for lunch,' Spencer cuts in and we all agree.

We take the gondola up one last time. Instead of going towards the slopes, we head for the restaurant.

It is a traditional ski resort restaurant; most of the tables are outside, the building is a log cabin covered in fairy lights, hot chocolate is one of their main beverages.

Spencer informs the waiter that the 'Ardelean' party has arrived. At the end of the competition, we will get to find out who Mr Ardelean is, and therefore who owns the castle and is rich as fuck.

We are seated on a long table outside. Seeing as there are no table settings this time, we get to choose where to sit.

Shock, Helene manages to get next to Bain. Bain grabs my wrist and pulls me down on the space next to him, making me smile.

I'm also pleased to see that Saffron is sat next to Spencer and the two of them are flirting unashamedly again. I'm rooting for those two.

Florie sits on my right and we look over the menu together. The choice is limited but sounds delicious.

In the end, we all order burgers, but different variations. Mine is covered in melted Swiss cheese, making my mouth water as soon as the plate is set in front of me.

The conversation is easy during the meal, as we all talk as a group. There isn't really much room for flirting when everyone is discussing the slopes.

After eating, we stay for a little longer, giving ourselves time to digest. When we're ready again, we click on our skis and head off to different slopes.

Marybeth and Kira are now ready to try the blue and red slopes. Ahmed, being the sweetie he is, offers to go with them. Both of the girls are very pleased with his offer.

Florie and I choose to stick with the black slopes, Lula and Niki decide to stay with the red ones.

Everyone else goes up to the diamond slopes. After seeing Helene put her arm around Bain's waist on the way up, I silently wish I were better and could go with them.

Florie nudges me.

'Hey, just ignore her. She's trying to get under your skin because you're the biggest threat to her for Bain. It's obvious that he likes you,' she reassures me.

'Thanks, Flo,' I reply and she grins.

'Come on, let's smash this slope.'

The girls and I are exhausted when we finally finish in the afternoon. We say goodbye to the bachelors and get in the minibus to go home.

I doze a bit on the drive home, skiing really wiped me out. We go back to our rooms and Spencer asks us to change into swimwear, as we will be joining the bachelors on the balcony to spend some time with them in the hot tubs.

Now, that causes everyone to wake up.

'Oh my gosh! We get to see their bodies!' Binah exclaims excitedly, a blush already gracing her cheeks.

I look at the swimwear I've packed. Mostly it's bikinis. I choose a simple pink one. It's nothing special but it's flattering on me.

I tie my hair up in a bun and remove my foundation, leaving only my eye make-up on. I want my pores to be open in the hot tub, my foundation would get all sweaty otherwise.

I slip a pair of joggers and a jumper on over my bikini, what a contrast. I slide on a pair of slippers and meet the other girls in the hallway.

Spencer leads us down to the balcony. I know Saff is disappointed that he won't be joining us.

When we get outside, the sun is starting to set. There are three huge hot tubs next to one another on the balcony, a bachelor is sat in each one.

There is a table full of champagne flutes set up and we all eagerly take one.

'Ladies, feel free to remove your clothes and choose a hot tub.' Spencer departs before the clothes are gone. He looks over his shoulder at Saffron, who is watching him with equal sadness.

I make a mental note to ask Bain whether Spencer could join our group more often. I don't know if there are rules about him dating one of the girls, there must be a reason he is not involved in this competition.

Lula, Niki and Kira get into the hot tub with Fidel. Florie, Marybeth and Binah choose Ahmed's hot tub.

That leaves Saffron, Winnie, Helene and I in Bain's hot tub. He seems very pleased that the four of us have chosen him.

I know Saffron isn't really competition for me with Bain, her interests well and truly lie with Spencer.

Helene presses herself to Bain's side. I have to admit, the red bikini she has chosen compliments her body very well. Her bottoms flaunt her amazing ass and her breasts are held high and proud in the strappy top.

I make conversation with Saff and Winnie, so I don't have to listen to Helene flirt. I don't like how jealous it makes me feel, plus, her flirting is pretty terrible.

'I want to ask if Spencer can join us more often, he so fancies you,' I tell Saff and she blushes.

'I'd like that,' she mumbles. She glances anxiously at Bain and lowers her voice. 'I can't focus on any of the guys when he's there. If I'm honest, Spencer is the only one I'm interested in, I don't feel a connection with these three.'

She's only confirming what Winnie and I already know.

'We definitely need you to spend more time with him, I don't mind asking Bain,' I reply.

'Thank you, that would be great,' Saff says. 'What about you Winnie? How are you feeling?'

Winnie shrugs and looks at her nails, seemingly disinterested.

'I haven't felt anything for these guys, I don't think this is my kind of thing, dating like this. It's hard enough for me to find someone I'm interested in in a normal setting, this is just too different for me,' she confesses quietly.

I sneak a glance at Bain, making sure he's not listening, but his eyes are trained solely on Helene. I don't know whether I'm relieved or disappointed.

I lean back and close my eyes, still carrying on the conversation with my girls.

I can't believe that I've spent the day skiing in Switzerland, and now I'm in a hot tub with a gorgeous man and my best friends, sipping champagne.

And this is all for free.

As I'm enjoying the warm water, I feel someone's eyes on me. I open my eyes and meet the dark brown ones belonging to Bain.

My mouth feels dry and I take a sip of my champagne on the side. When I glance back, Bain is still watching me. He smirks and my heart flutters.

Helene places her hand on the side of his face and turns him towards her. I hold back a scowl. She says something flirtatious and smiles at him, I don't hear Bain's reply.

She leans in and my breath catches in my throat. She's going to kiss him.

Bain subtly turns, so that her lips get his cheek. He doesn't pull away fully, making me think that he must like Helene at least a little.

I don't blame him. She's gorgeous and confident and probably can be nice if you're on her good side.

Having watched The Bachelor a few times, I never thought I'd be one of those girls who interrupts someone else's conversation. I guess it depends on how much you like the guy, and how much you respect the woman they're talking to.

From her nasty comments this morning, I don't respect Helene all that much.

As Bain and Helene lean back from their awkward, intimate moment, I slide over to sit on Bain's right.

He turns to look at me and smiles when he sees that I've moved over to him.

'Amity,' he says my name like he knows a secret.

I smile. 'Bain.'

He shifts to face me fully, effectively ending his conversation with Helene. She scoffs and Saffron starts talking to her as a distraction.

I love my friends.

'Did you enjoy today?' He asks, staring into my eyes.

Any other guy, and I'd probably find his intense staring creepy, but with Bain, it's different. His eyes are hypnotic. They draw me in. A pathetic part of me is just so happy that his attention is on me whenever I catch his gaze.

'I loved it,' I reply.

I sneak a look over at the girls. Saffron and Winnie have Helene deep in conversation, making me feel confident to be a little bolder.

I don't like people overhearing my flirting, but Helene obviously doesn't share my dislike.

Bain smirks. 'So did I. I particularly enjoyed our little off-piste moment,' he notes.

I grin at him. 'Yes, I liked that. I'm actually grateful Helene knocked me, it worked out rather well.'

Bain leans in close to me and my breath hitches. He has such an effect on my body, it's crazy.

'I have a confession,' he murmurs, his dark eyes dropping to my lips.

Subconsciously, I lick them. 'What's that?'

'Earlier, I wish we didn't have our helmets on. I should have taken it off,' he says quietly.

I'm conscious of how close we are and the fact we are not alone, but right now, I don't care.

'Why?' I ask breathily.

Bain's smirk deepens.

'Because I wanted to kiss you.'
