We return to the dining room for six o'clock, just as the servants are laying dinner on the table. The seven other woman are already seated, they all look up as we enter.

My friends and I take the three available chairs and start introducing ourselves to the group.

There's Binah, Florie, Kira, Marybeth, Niki, Lula and Helene.

I feel like I'm going to forget their names straight away. I wish we could all wear name tags or something.

We chat throughout dinner. I'm sat next to Florie and Kira, who are very sweet and friendly. Helene is the only one who is quite cold. She doesn't say much and has a resting bitch face.

Even after we've finished the meal, we all stay in the communal area, getting to know one another. All of us are under thirty, very much single and looking for the right guys. The rest of the woman are very excited to be here, even Helene cracks a smile at the mention of the bachelors.

It appears Winnie and I are the only ones who weren't entirely away of what we were getting ourselves into. I'm happy to be here, but I'll admit that my excitement is overshadowed by my nerves at the moment.

At half ten, we decide to go to our rooms. We have an early start tomorrow.

I thought I might struggle to sleep in a strange bed, but the mattress is incredibly soft and I fall asleep only minutes after lying down.

My alarm goes off at 7AM. I wash my face and clean my teeth in the bathroom, before the chatter in the communal area draws me to the kitchen.

All of the girls are up and are helping themselves to the buffet breakfast spread out on the dining table. I join them and we discuss today's activities.

None of us bother to put make-up on, we have spa treatments booked in first thing. At 8AM exactly, Spencer comes to collect us.

He walks us through the castle to the treatment wing. I notice that Saffron has her flirt on, she stays with him at the front of the group.

We are lead into the spa, where beauticians and masseuses take care of us. We are given treatment after treatment; seaweed scrubs, mud peels. I feel exfoliated, buffed, scrubbed and moisterised by the time it comes to lunch.

We eat out on the balcony, all of us wearing white robes, our hair up in towels. We swim in the pools and sit in the saunas.

After eating, we are each given a manila folder. Inside are three documents on the bachelors.

There are only their first names, as we are not allowed to know who is our host. Perhaps they are worried we would flirt more with that one, considering he might be the richest.

The redhead is called Fidel. He looks rather arrogant, but fun and cheeky. Ahmed looks like a sweetheart, with blonde hair and laughing eyes.

Bain looks like a heartthrob. Deliciously dark and handsome, he's the one that I both want to know and want to avoid. He's the one to watch out for, because he could seriously do some damage to my heart.

We are allowed to study the profiles. They give us the male's dates of birth, a couple of hobbies and interests and their qualifications. It's almost like reading a CV, as if we're interviewing them for a job or something.

As we sit in the hot tubs, we all look over the profiles and discuss them with one another.

'I like the look of Ahmed,' Binah comments dreamily, her eyes roving over the picture as she sips champagne.

'I want to know Fidel a little more, he looks like he could handle my personality,' Lula says with a grin.

I agree with her. From what I've seen, she has a fiery personality with a short temper. I think her and Fidel might be good for each other.

'What about you, Helene?' Saff asks.

She looks over at us from the corner and smirks. 'Bain. Looks like he has a big cock and knows what to do with it.'

My mouth drops open slightly in surprise. Lula and Niki gasp in shock, Binah goes bright red.

'Jesus,' Winnie mutters under her breath.

Saffron bursts out laughing. 'I'm not disagreeing with you, you might be onto something.'

I take a sip of my champagne. I guess we'll see.

As 2PM comes round, we are taken from the spa, over to a salon. We are given makeovers. Saffron gets her hair re-dyed, with honey highlights. I get mine washed and trimmed.

Afterwards, our nails are done and our make-up applied by professionals.

'I feel like I'm off to prom or something,' I tell Winnie as we pick out outfits in her room.

She chuckles from inside her wardrobe. I wait patiently as she tries on a dress.

'What do you think?' She asks.

She steps out wearing an emerald green evening dress.

'Wow. You look incredible,' I tell her honestly.

She grins and does a twirl. 'Thank you. Now, what are you wearing?'

I hold up the black dress and she nods in approval. I slide off my dressing gown and carefully put it on, being sure that I don't catch my pinned up hair or smudge my make-up.

The dress drops down to my ankles. There is a large slit that goes up my side, revealing my right leg almost to my hip.

'Whoa, that's sexy! You look hot,' Winnie comments.

I look at my reflection, self-consciously running my hands down the curvy swell of my hips.

'Five minutes, ladies!' Spencer shouts from the hallway.

We collect our things, doing the final sprays of perfume and adding jewellery. The ten of us gather in the corridor.

All of us are dressed for a ball. This is very much like a cocktail party on The Bachelor. Spencer takes us downstairs, showing us to a large room, filled with sofas and tables and ornamental plants.

It's like a huge living area.

'Please gather around, ladies,' Spencer requests. 'Your bachelors will be arriving shortly.'

It's quiet for a moment, as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of the men we are supposedly dating for two weeks.

The doors open and three men, identical to their pictures, enter the room.

Spencer grins. 'Ladies, I would like you to meet your bachelors; Fidel, Ahmed and Bain.'

The men cast their gazes over us, smug smiles on their handsome faces. My eyes meet Bain's and my heart flutters.

Save me, he's even more handsome in person.

His eyes move away from me and I feel as though I can breathe again.

Dressed in matching black tuxedos, the bachelors look very handsome.

'Right, I will leave you to it. Enjoy your evening getting to know each other, dinner will be served in one hour.' Spencer excuses himself and the doors close behind him.

Quiet classical music begins to play, breaking the silence. For a moment, the thirteen of us remain frozen, waiting for someone to make the first move.

Fidel steps forwards and approaches Saffron, who is closest to him.

'You must be Saffron, I recognise you from your picture. Would you like to go over there and have a little chat?' He asks smoothly.

She agrees and the first pair breaks off.

Helene moves around to the front. She's wearing a blood red dress that hugs every curve. Her blonde curls are half-up, half-down and trailing down her bare back.

'Bain, it's lovely to meet you. I'm Helene,' she introduces herself in a breathy voice I don't recognise.

Really, girl?

Bain takes her hand and charmingly kisses the back of it. He smirks at her.

'Nice to meet you, Helene.'

She grins at him. 'Wanna get to know each other a little better?'

The group watches in silence as the two of them move off to the right.

Ahmed scans his eyes over us. They land on Binah, who looks gorgeous in a pale green dress that compliments her platinum blonde bob.

'Binah,' he says softly. 'I'll admit, your photo caught my eye immediately. I've been looking forward to getting to know you better.'

She blushes at his compliment and smiles shyly.

The rest of us watch as they go off together. We're like the kids left behind in gym when everyone has picked their teams. We're the ones no one wants.

The seven of us sit down together on three large sofas, arranged facing each other. As the three couples get to know each other, we sit and drink champagne.

I turn to Winnie.

'Did you see the way Spencer was looking at Saffron tonight?' I ask her.

Winnie nods with a smirk. 'Yes, I did.'

'He didn't seem happy about leaving her here,' I comment.

'No, he didn't. It's a shame he can't be one of the bachelors,' she muses.

'I'm giving them three more minutes, then I'm cutting in,' Lula says, catching my attention.

'Really? Can we do that?' Niki asks, sounding surprised.

'Uh, yeah! If this is gonna be like The Bachelor, I'm allowed to cut in,' Lula responds.

I shrug. I don't think there are any rules, but I'm definitely not cutting in. Thankfully, unlike The Bachelor, getting sent home doesn't mean actually leaving. As long as I get the free holiday, I'm not fussed about dating.

After three minutes, we all watch, enraptured, as Lula stands up and smooths down her dress. She straightens her shoulders, steels herself and struts over to where Fidel and Saffron are sitting.

There are down at the end of the room, too far away for us to hear their conversation. Lula looks confident and sexy as she sways her hips and approaches them.

She says something and Saffron hurriedly stands up. It looks like my bestie is rather relieved to have an excuse to get away from Fidel. Fidel smirks up at Lula and pats the space where Saff was just sitting.

Saffron comes back over to us, a grimace on her face.

'Well? What's he like?' Marybeth asks excitedly when Saff sits down.

'He's such a flirt! I thought I was bad, but wow. I think Lula can handle him, though. I'm so glad she came over,' Saffron informs us.

'That's interesting, we thought he might be like that from his picture, didn't we?' Marybeth replies.

'Do you want to come talk with me?' We all look up at the male voice that interrupts our conversation.
