Y/n's Point Of View.

I just forced a smile, of course they're going out without me.

"That's nice, mommy will stay here with Uncle Ko-"

"You are staying in your room, until we got back." I was cut off by Ran's monotone voice.

I didn't respond to him as I continued to stroke their hair as they were clinging onto me.

"Rin, Kei... let's go play? Let your mommy and daddy talk for a while." Kokonoi put his hands in front of the twins.

They happily accepted it as the three of them. Started walking inside the house, I sighed.. I can't talk to him right now.

I stood up and was about to leave but he blocked my way with his tall and lean body.

"You.. are staying in your room, until we got back." He repeated.

I rolled my eyes, "Can't you just have your father's personality instead of your mom? I'll do whatever I want."

"You're in my property so you will obey me, stepmom."

I glared at him, as I pushed him. I was mad when he just suddenly called me that. I used to like it, but that was before.

"Then I will leave your damn property, my children will go with me whether you like it or not because they like me more than you. They love me more than they love you so move out of the way!" My heart was beating so fast, I was trying to maintain a tough persona in front of him. Even if seeing him breaks me.

"Oh yeah? And where would you go?"

"To your father, he's more acceptable and kind. He doesn't control me-"

"Failed to get my money so you'll go back to him. You probably failed with the man you replaced me with, why? Is he abusive? Doesn't have enough money?" It feels like he's mocking me.

"I would've just married your dad and makes him think that the twins are his.. but I didn't do that because of you! But now I'm starting to regret why I chose you over hi-"

"Take back what you just said!" He cut me off by grabbing my arms harshly.

"If you're not going to sit down and listen to everything I needed to say... I won't take back anything." I shrugged his hands off me as I walked pass him.

My hands were shaking, I was really scared of him but I don't want him to think that I'm weak and all of that. If he doesn't wanna believe me then that's not going to be my problem.

I'm tired of begging, and crying for someone to hear me out and help me.. when no one actually came to do so.

Author's Point Of View.

The twins were looking cute as hell, enough for Heather to want to squeeze their cheeks but she has to maintain her cuteness aggression because Ran is next to her.

Ran's eyes landed on the door of your room from upstairs. He thought that you will send the twins out, but no.. the twins came downstairs by themselves.

You had a separate room from Ran ever since he came back though. The twins still sleeps next to you.

Anyway, Ran fasten the seatbelt of each twin as he closed the door of the car. Entering the drivers seat where Heather was already sitting on the passengers seat.

"Is this your first time going out?" He asked the twins, looking from the review mirror.

"Uh-huh, first time ever!" Rin was excited.

While Kei was a little bit worried because you're not around. But she doesn't wanna show that she's bothered, she's afraid that it might hurt her father's feelings.

The twins expected that they'll arrived at the mall. To to their surprise, the car parked in front of an apartment.

Confusion was pasted all over their faces, as they saw Heather coming out of the car.

"I'll see you guys some other time!" She waved her hands to the twins.

Then closing the door after she got down. The twins waved their hands even though they're still confused.

"We're not going with her?" Kei asked, as soon as Ran started pulling out the drive way.

"Nope, but don't tell your mother okay? I think she will get mad if she found out that we're not going out with her." He puts his index finger on his lips and smiled.

The twins happily agreed with him, because this is their little secret from you.

Turns out he was only taking the twins out himself, he just made it look like as if Heather was coming with them... I wonder why?

Ran was happy to he able to spend his day with his children. But it bothers him because he felt as if something was missing, it made him empty as he looks at the seat next to him.

But his shrugged those thoughts away, because of his burden anger inside his chest.

When you told him they were your kids. He didn't doubt you, he immediately believed you and accepted the twins with all of his heart. Because he already felt as if he was somehow connected to Kei when they first met.

"Be careful, you're wearing a dress." He advised, as he was helping the twins get down from the car. It was a bit windy.

"Wow! This is what a mall looks like?" Rin's mouth went wide open as she looks at the huge building in front of her.

Their eyes lighten after seeing people entering and leaving the door of the mall. It's their first time seeing so many people.

"I wanna go inside, please daddy!" Kei was jumping from excitement.

"Alright, Alright." Ran chuckled after locking the door.

He held the twins' hands as the three of them walked towards the entrance of the mall.

The guard scanned him as if he was somehow familiar, but shrugged those doubts away and let them in after checking if he's carrying any weapons.

"It's so cold in here." Rin was amazed as soon as they got inside the mall and started looking around.

Their doe eyes landed on each corner of the mall. Seeing people just having fun with their friends and family, it was a new experience for them and they absolutely adore it.

They just wished you were here with them.

"Why did you let your mother dressed you without any sleeves?" Ran sounded protective as soon as he heard Rin said she was cold.

"I like this dress, it's pretty. Do you think it's pretty?" Rin smiled at Ran as she was showing the dress.

Ran blinked multiple times as he was stunned, because for some reason he just saw an image of you for a split second, he shakes his head to remove it from his head.

"Of course, it's even more prettier since you guys are wearing it." He chuckled, he can't believe how they really got your face.

The three of them started walking, and soon was followed by Ran's bodyguards who appeared out of nowhere.

They look like some rich elite families going shopping with these guards. Ran just wanted to make sure that nothing bad will about to happen.

"Rin, look!" Kei suddenly stopped to point at a toy store they walked passed. "It's the doll that we wished to have when we turned 5."

Rin's eyes enlighten, "Oh yeah! It looks so pretty!"

"Do you want that?" Their father asked after seeing a certain doll that they wanted.

"Can we have it, please?" They started acting cute to convince their father.

Ran's heart melted, would he even say no to his kids?

They entered the store and a sales lady approached them and guide them to the dolls that they wanted.

"Let's get one for mommy." Rin said, picking up another box of doll.

"I don't think your mother would want to play with those, she's an adult." Ran contrasted.

"But she said she never had a doll when she was young." Rin pout, attempting to put the doll back.

But Ran couldn't resist her of course, "Fine, we can get one for your mother as well."

The twins celebrated in joy after getting their father's approval. Later on, they decided to check out after looking around to buy them more than one toys.. spending his money on them wasn't a big deal for him.

It's not like he has someone to spend it with through out these years.

After that, they went to go get ice cream, some clothes and many more just to spoil his kids. He didn't care if he's spending too much money on them.. he couldn't say no considering the fact that everything that happened today is their first time doing it.

The guards serves as the one carrying all the shopping bags. They're also running out of hands to hold more but they couldn't complain.

They only get to sit down when Ran decided to give them a proper meal and took them to a restaurant. And there they finally had the chance to sit down after hours of shopping.

"Are you two having fun today?" He wanted to make sure that he's not the only one having fun.

"Yes.. but it's much better if mommy is with us." Kei responded in a pout.

"Well, me and your mother are not in a good condition right now. Maybe in the future." He pats her daughters head.

"It's okay, mom said we've spend so many time together and we've only met you yesterday so it's unfair for your side if she's coming." The other twin added.

"Don't worry, daddy will fix every misunderstanding he has with your mommy okay? We'll go out again... as family."
