Y/n's Point Of View.

The time flies so fast, it has been six years since I've seen the outside world.

I bet my skin is hungry for a sunlight, talk about how pale I've become. I don't always look at myself in the mirror, perhaps I'm ashamed, because I was weak.. all I did was cry.. but it didn't help me.

I was holding a broomstick as I was swiping the leaves on the garden, Ran's mother has an indoor garden located in her huge house.

Thankfully, she didn't kept me trapped inside that basement for long. She said I was useless so she treated me like a maid, I help to clean with the other maids she has.

And that applies for my daughters as well.

Rinko and Rankei.. Haitani, well Ran's mother refuse to put the surname Haitani to them. But I fought for my life, eventually she just agreed for the sake of my mouth shutting up.

I'm bad at names, I know that... And yes, they're identical twins.. but they had my looks, that's why Ran's mother refuse to believe that they're Ran's child.

"Mommy, Kei doesn't wanna help me with the trash bags!" I heard my eldest whining as I saw her holding a trash bag in front of a pile of leaf.

My eyes searched for her younger twin, and smiled when I saw her near a plant box. Crouching down as her back was facing me.

I put down the broomstick and walked towards her direction, and I wasn't surprised when I saw her playing with the worm using a stick from a broom. She was poking it while the worm wiggles.

"Kei, why aren't you helping your sister?" I asked her.

She got startled and lets go of the stick as she stood up and whip her hands on her clothes.

"I'm sorry, I will go and help her now." She left me to help her sister, put the pile of leaf inside the trash bag.

I admire them from where I'm standing. All I could say is.. I raised them well.

I was never a good woman for other people, but I wanted to be at least be a good mother for them. All these years, I realized how matured I've become, my life did fell apart. But at least I had my daughters with me now.

"Lunch is ready~ oh? Look at you guys!" I heard one of the maid that I'm close to said, as she was looking at the twins carrying the trash bag filled with leaves into the bin.

Kyoko, she's about the same age as me. She helped me take care of the twins ever since they were born.

"You're big girls now, you should stop sleeping next to your mother then." She joked as the twins pout.

"Noooo, were still sleeping next to mommy." Rin protested after they successfully put the trash bag on the bin.

"And it's so scary without mommy next to us." Kei added as she folded her small arms in front of her chest.

"Alright, alright. Auntie Kyoko considers defeat." She put her hand in surrender as the twins came running to us.

"Let's have lunch now, whoever eats the least vegetables will be sleeping next to their Auntie Kyoko." I teased them.

I heard how they whine as the four of us went to the kitchen to eat. I was starving, I'm pretty sure the twins are too.. we've been working since this morning and haven't even stop to take a rest.

"Eat alot." I placed more vegetables in Kei's plate, she dislikes them.. but she's only force to eat so she will be sleeping next to me.

Her face says it all, while Rin was deliciously eating all the vegetables I put on her plate.

"Mommy, when are we going to school?"

I stopped eating once Rin asked that, they've been curious to know that because they keep seeing these kids at the television at their age going to school with their friends.

But I couldn't bring myself to tell them that it's impossible, we're not even allowed to step out the house.

"Maybe soon, okay? For now let's work hard on cleaning so our boss wouldn't scold us okay?" I smiled at them.

"Okay!" They both proceeded to eat as me and Kyoko exchange glances.

She feel bad for them too, I never expected to give them this type of environment. I wanted to give them a better life where their childhood is filled with them going to school and playing with their friends.

Not stuck inside this hell, cleaning and cleaning for the sake of their safety.

Anyway, we were done eating as the twins were helping us put away the plate. I was wiping the table as Kei has two plates in her hand and she was about to put them in the sink.

When Rin decided to play pranks of her, and scared her. Causing Kei to drop the plates on the floor, causing them to break into pieces.

But my eyes grew in horror as soon as I saw Ran's mother witnessed all of this. Since I was in the other corner of my room, she managed to reach Kei before I could even.

She grabbed her by the arms, tight. "Are you stupid? You had one job and you're fucking it up?!" She yelled at her.

Of course, Kei is just a child so she started bursting into tears as Rin was feeling sorry for what happened but she couldn't bring herself to defend her sister.

"You're stupid just like your mother! And you! You are a fucking idiot as well!" She grabbed Rin this time.

"Please let them go, i-it was an accident I'm sure they didn't mean any of this." I came into their defense. So the woman looked at me with her terrifying eyes.

The twins were crying nonstop because of how tight she was gripping on them. But I gasped when she let go of their arms by pushing them, I saw how Kei landed on the broken pieces which made me go to her immediately.

I saw blood on her arms which she used to protect herself from the broke pieces.

But then, I felt a strong pair of arms pulled my hair as I stand up. Her grip was so tight that it can make me bald.

"You never learn huh? You keep messing up with the most simplest task and you even dare to pass that to your stupid children!"

All I'm concerned about is Kei's injuries, I saw how Rin helped her stand up and hugged her as they were both crying while looking at us.

"I could've killed them when I had a chance, so that you didn't bring anymore burden in this home! Argh! Stupid people!" She finally let go of my hair.

"Lock that whore up and don't give her dinner!" She was talking to her men as she exited the kitchen.

Her men grabbed both of my arms as was about to drag me to her dungeon, but I stopped him.

"Please, let me treat my daughter's wound first.. I'll come with you as soon as I'm done."
