《Cinderella》25.Reasons

"Well then, why did you do it?" I asked her again.

My stepmother looked at me and started to tell me her reason "I did it because..."

"Even though you brats got everything, I was expected to take care of you. My husband loved my daughters more then me. And you. You were the worst one of the three. He adored you. Everything he did was about you. Do you know why he married me? It was because he thought that you needed a motherly figure in your life. Not because he loved me or cared about me, but because you needed a mother. I didn't truly hate my daughters till they inherited everything with you. I never liked them, because they reminded me of their father, but I never hated them. But you, you I've hated since the beginning. You had everything. A mother who loved you, a father who would rather die then see you sad. Everything. You're father did everything for you. You took it for granted. You were a careless little girl who didn't know what the word hardship meant let alone what it was like to live an unprivileged life. I've always hated you. You're detestable, despicable, disgusting. I despise you, loathe you, hate you. I loved your father, but he only loved you and my daughters. He never loved me. Never. So why did I do it? Why did I treat you like dirt? It's because you have this perfect life and you deserve to know what it feels like. You deserve to know what being unwanted feels like" my stepmother screamed at me.

"Okay" I simply stated.

"So now what are you going to do?" She asked.

"Should we discuss this?" I asked my sisters.

"The decision is all yours. Out of all of us, she's wronged you the most" Laney said and Lele nodded in agreement.

"I'm not cruel enough to toss you out on the streets, but you don't deserve to live the privileged life you have been living. You know, my life has never once been perfect or privileged. I lost my mother at a young age. Since I was born, my parents taught me to do my own work and not rely on servants. I used to cook meals with my mother and do many other things. You on the other hand, I doubt you could survive without me cooking all of your meals or making your bed each morning" I said. She simply glared at me knowing that her fate was in my hands.

"I've decided. If you still want to live here, then you may live in the attic like you've been making me do. You'll also have to work to pay for your room, clothes, food. Just as you've always told me I must do. I don't have anything to threatened you with other then living on the streets to make sure you do your job, but I'd never stoop so low. That is my offer. Either take it or leave our house" I said to her.

"Yes ma'am" she mumbled.

"What was that?" I asked her.

"Yes ma'am" she grumbled.

"I didn't catch that" I said.

"Yes ma'am" she said through gritted teeth.

"You don't have to call me ma'am. I doubt that anyone could be so horrible and cruel enough to make a family member call them that. Oh, wait" I said with a slightly evil grin.

"I've never seen this side of you" Laney commented.

"I'm normally quite forgiving, but I can only take so much before I snap" I said.

"If she had told the truth in the beginning, I would've happily let her stay here and treated her as an equal. Now she's just another person who works here" I said.

"Remind me to stay on your good side" Lele said.

"I'm not that cruel" I said with a slight frown.

"No. You're not. If I had my way with her, she would end up six feet under and no one would question it" Lele said.

"You could dump the body in the swamp. No one ever goes back there" I suggested.

"And if it were up to me, she'd be a good test subject I suppose" Laney speculated.

"Is running away off the table?" Adrain asked in fright.

"For you yes. I want you out of my life" Lele said.

"What about me?" Alexander asked.

"I doubt I'll ever let you go" Laney said.

"And I'll never let you go either" he agreed.

"And me?" Anthony asked.

"Hmm...I'll have to think about that" I said with a laugh.

"Then perhaps this will change your mind" he said and with that, he pulled out the other crystal shoe.

Hey everyone! I'm still trying to get the story finished today. This part just took awhile because I was debating turning the stepmother good or just leaving her as rotten. You've already read what I decided. Hope you agree with my decision, especially you . Anyways, please vote and comment. Till next time

P.S. I almost have the new story idea figured out it doesn't involve pandas, but I will share the idea with all of you soon
