Next day sanyukta went to office and got engrossed in her work. She found it strange that since morning randhir hasn't called her once in his cabin. The whole day passed but she didn't find a trace of him in the office so she thought to check herself. She stood outside his cabin and was debating on whether she should go in or not.

Sanyukta: should I go or not? I think I should say at least a thank you to him for yesterday but I just wish he don't get any hopes from this.

She was confused with her thoughts when she saw sanaya coming out of his cabin with some files.

Sanaya: sanyu you here?

Sanyukta: yeah actually I have some work with him. But he seems to be quite busy. He didn't come out of his cabin today.

Sanaya: sanyukta you don't know? He didn't come today...in fact he has no plan for few weeks too...

Sanyukta: what do you mean he didn't come?

Sanaya: actually today morning only he informed his secretary that he has to urgently leave for Germany for a meeting....and I think that meeting will take some time...okay see you around sanyu need to finish these files...

Sanyukta nodded her head whereas sanaya went away. Sanyukta once again looked at the close door of his cabin and made her way back to the cubicle.

Sanyukta: was he serious last night when he said that he will leave from my life? But why will it bother me if he stays here or not? It is good that he finally realized that we both now don't stand a chance together.

Slowly one week passed and there was no news of randhir. Though sanyukta was somewhat relived that he finally but some part of her was disappointed that he gave up so easily. Sanyukta after dinner was lying in her room when she felt uneasy. She decided to go to her mother' room and ask for some medicine. She was about to enter her room when she heard her mother shouting on someone on phone.

Anju: didn't I tell you to stay away from my daughter? Why don't you get this one thing clear randhir that she hates you and you need to stop interfering in her life? (Pause) then why did you called the doctor to ask about her progress? Randhir you promised me that now you won't trouble my daughter then why are you doing all this?

Anju was about to continue when he eyes fell on the mirror and she saw sanyuta standing near the door. She kept the phone aside and looked at sanyukta who was giving her accusing looks.

Anju: sanyua beta

Sanyukta: since when did you start this planning and plotting ma? You asked randhir to leave from here? Why ma?

Anju: baby listen to me

Sanyukta (showing her hand): I want to know the truth ma...why randhir left so abruptly? It is not like I care but the matter and reasons are related to me...so I need to know!

Anju: since the day randhir came to your life..I saw you sanyu...I saw you dying daily....I heard your muffled cried in the night that you try to suppress.... I thought that you have finally overcome your pain and you have started moving on in your life but I was so wrong....and you was actually leaving your past behind but then he came back.....he came back and you again caged yourself in that painful past of yours...you again started becoming vulnerable and weak....tu kabhi dikhaati nahi hai toh kya hua? Ma hu teri mai...jaanti hu andar se kitna tut gayi hai tu...aur randhir ka wapis aane se tere vo zakhm ek baar firse hare hogye hai...( you don't show anything but I am your mother sanyukta...I know you are broke from inside...and randhir's return has warm up all your past memories and wounds) you doctor called me and she was complaining to me about your degrading health and how much stress you are taking these days...if you were alone then I wouldn't have interfere in your matter sanyu because I know you are a fighter but you have a life inside you sanyu....and unknowingly you are putting your baby's life in danger...so I called randhir and shared the matter with him...

FLASHBACK

Randhir: mummy ji in this case we should take more care of sanyukta and should ensure that she stays away from any kind of stress...

Anju: and that is the reason I called you here randhir....because I want your help in this...would you help me?

Randhir: mummy ji sanyukta is my wife...why will I deny for it? I can do anything for sanyu and my baby...you just tell me what I have to do

Anju: you have to leave from her life....just go away from her life..so far that even your name couldn't halt her in her dreams...

Randhir : what are you saying mummy ji? How can you even ask thi from me? You very well know why I came back...and you are asking me to leave...sorry but I can'! I know sanyukta is angry with me and she should be....because what I did with her is not a mistake but a crime...I played with her heart and made our marriage a mockery...but now when I have realized my crime I am not going to back off until I win her back...

Anju: vo tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karegi randhir (she won't forgive you ever randhir)

Randhir: then be it! She don't want to forgive me that's her decision but I will keep trying to win my love back and this is my decision....she gave me and our love five years of her life...and I will give my complete life to her and our love....I will keep asking for her forgiveness till she forgives me...and I don't care whether it takes a year of my whole life....but I won't go back without her forgiveness...

Anju: there is nothing left in this marriage randhir....you are just wasting your time and efforts...the pain you have given her will not go away so easily....

Randhir: our love...our baby...till the time they are there...our marriage is still alive...I know it is not easy for her to forgive me but I am ready to bear any punishment and wait through my whole life for that once chance...you agree to it or not...but you also know this and like me....sanyukta is also incomplete without me....she won't love anyone else in her life because the loyal wife in her won't grant her permission to even look at some other man.....me and sanyukta need each other....our baby needs us...and even if it is not for me but for my baby....i will make us happen...I am ready to go through anything just for my baby

Anju: so can you leave sanyukta for your baby? Randhir her condition is really critical and all this stress is not doing any good to her....I understand your sentiments regarding the child but right now our main concern should be sanyukta...doctor said that if some precautions are not taken then we might loose sanyukta along with the baby

Randhir (shouted): NO!!....Nothing will happen to them...they are my world...I won't let anything happen to them

Anju: randhir throughout your marriage sanyu has made so many sacrifices for you and for her love....can't you make one sacrifice for her life? And don't forget how she once tried to end her life because of you....who knows she do something like this again..Because your presence around her is giving her mental pain randhir....your presence is making her remember your betrayal to her. It is completely on you randhir what do you want? Are you still adamant in asking for her forgiveness and risking her life? What is more important to you sanyukta or your peace of finally having your wife back?

Randhir (motionlessly): I will go away from here....if it will keep my sanyu and my baby safe then I will leave from her life..You don't worry I won't trouble her more...

Anju: I called him today because from your doctor I came to know that he was daily keeping a tab on your health and progress...if you want to call me selfish....then yes... I am selfish...I don't know whatever I did was right or not but I did that for my daughter safety....mai ek baar tujhe khone ka dard bardash kar chuki magar iss baar nhi kar paungi ( I have felt the pain of losing you once but I won't be able to bear it again)

Sanyukta without uttering a word made her way back to her room and his words started playing in her mind.

Sanyukta closed the door and went towards the bed and laid down on the bed. She clutched her tummy as tears slowly made their way through her eyes...

Sanyukta: why are you complicating the things more....I so wished that you never came back in our life...I can't forget whatever you did with me but i also can't neglect the fact that you love your baby very much....and i have no right to separate a baby from his father...i am so confused....What should i do? Should I really give him a second chance....for our baby?
