Climbing a staircase is an effort.

Sometimes it's great, some times it's easy. But it all comes down to you did it, and that's because of all the efforts you made on your way up; each step you took.

But looking at a staircase as only the last and first step gives you a wall, and it's very intimidating.

Impossible, you would say.

But not if you add the steps in between.

Even though projects, short or long term can be intimidating. It can be done. Just make sure you take the proper steps in between. :)
