I overheard my friend ask "Where's the proof?" in relating to God, and, here's (one of my) thoughts.
If God isn't real, and everything is just science, then what differentiates us from robots? Why aren't they sentient? They're programmed to move and make decisions on their own, but they aren't alive.
We're 'programmed' to breed, eat, sleep, so why aren't we mindless?
What keeps us from being mindless things that's only purpose is to survive, and breed?
Why have us think?
If you want evidence, look for one because nobody's gonna saunter over to you and give you evidence if you're not gonna look at it.
Be open minded and maybe explore a bit, then you'll find your answer.

As you read on questions may arise in your mind and mysteries will present themselves. The answers to them will come the further you read.
